Holy shit, I haven't played a game this addicting since Diablo II and Baldur's Gate II, I've played this game for 8 hours straight without noticing it, why isn't this game selling more?
It's literally better than every AAA game released in 2015, and it has more gameplay time than most AAA games released in 2015, it certainly deserves more.
nope, you don't have to use psi if you don't want to, its pretty overpowered anyways and makes the game a joke
you have a couple options, i haven't played melee but i've heard crit with knives is crazy
Crossbow trapper is best, I murder everyone and nobody even notices
>pass by 2 guys huddled by a fire near a guard house
>open door and see a guard inside
>close door and 1 hit the guy
>nobody saw a thing
>why isn't this game selling more?
Because the secret of its greatness is that it isn't trying to appeal to others outside a small niche audience. We just have to learn to live with the fact that this is never going to be a full time job option for Styg.
>Tfw my Hitman build is fun
>Int, Dex and Agility
>Guns, Dodge, Steallth, Lockpicking, Hacking, Mechanics an Persuasion
>Only can use Silenced 5mm pistols and Melee
>sad thing i can only play it once a month because it's my episodic character
I'm a psi wizard with 3 perception. Is it possible to throw in a bit of gun skill and use guns still? I have 8 dex and 6 agility as well if that matters. I plan on putting all points though into Will.
>sad thing i can only play it once a month because it's my episodic character
I'm disappointed they went that way, and will wait 2 years for it to all be released and on sale for 75% off before bothering to buy it.
I made it to the deep caverns on my first run, only to realise my build wasn't strong enough to progress through it all. So its back to the start again.
Going psi build this time.
At least I have explored the entire place and know where everything is now.
This Baker quest becomes more and more fascinating the more I learn about it. After talking with Cornell
I'm going back to SGS because I would really like to confront Tanner about this whole issue of stealing from the Faceless and pretending he knew nothing.
With 3 per you are not going to hit shit. That isn't much of a problem if you are shooting for a feat like Execute since the 70 skill requirement isn't really a lot, but that 3 per means you have a penalty on your skill so you'd have to waste a lot of points to get it.
So no, I don't recommend it.
Can anyone post the Faceless Influence jpeg. About to do the Rail Crossing mission and I wanna know if persuading them to leave Buzzer alive loses inf or not.
If you have 8DEX, get throwing instead.
>sneakan around some caves
>find some low level bandits in a shack
>cover one exit with a bear trap
>throw a molly into the room
>block the other exit with force field
>one guy tries to run out and gets stuck in the trap blocking the other two
This game makes me feel like a psycho and i love it
Search the official forums, that info was posted by one of the moderators and the guy who does the wiki.
It does, because of a bug. The newest patch (0.0.8.) fixed it, so check what version you are playing.
Dunno, the patch came out today, and Steam is usually the first to get it. Check for updates if you didn't get it automatically. But I don't really know, I'm playing the GOG version.
Yep, just found it, thx.
Deal is IF you have versions 220.127.116.11 or lower, gotta let Buzzer die. IF you have 18.104.22.168, you can persuade to let him live.
Actually, forget it. I didn't really think this through. That 20% increase is literally wowitsfuckingnothing.
Using a q109 black cloth ends up increasing the stealth bonus from 18 to 21. I don't know what's the highest quality for black cloth, but I doubt max quality benefits more than +5 from this feat. That's shit. Waste of a perk.
I disposed of all the guys around Balor (except for 5) with a non silenced smg. AI is pretty weak on that front, if get in a corner quick enough until you can cloak, no need to have stealthy weapons.
So these waves are endless and the only choice on this path is to go down, right?
Crit knives. Go dex and agi. Forget will and str and per. If you want to craft, take int up to 7. Keep in mind that you can make equipment that boosts a shit ton of points in stealth, and since you will be going "light armor", its not a bad trade to invest points in tailoring for suits, electronics for equipment and mech for your knives.
Merchant is useless and i dot suggest going for intimidate/persuasion since you can finish all quests with out those.
>Micro shrapnel bullets
Should I go Marauder or Hornet?
You keep making them when they die, after a week or so they start to pick up, also you link it in underrail threads on /v/. if you just make one or two threads then no one will have time to see if there is one
What? I just tested it, but don't see it working like that. Crafted a balaclava from that q109 cloth, and the result was one with +21 to stealth. Equipped it, combat stats still show +21. Unless I completely misunderstood what you just said.
I'll probably benefit more from Cerebral Trauma or Hypothermia.
Or he can just make threads about a video game, on a video game board. Stop sperging out. /vg/ was created for threads that got out of control, like one thread for each SCII race, and multiple threads about strategies and players. Your autism should be able to handle one Underrail thread.
There were fucking hours between this and the last thread.
>You keep making them when they die, after a week or so they start to pick up, also you link it in underrail threads on /v/. if you just make one or two threads then no one will have time to see if there is one
What the fuck did Anon mean by this?
SS2 comes up a lot on Underrail threads its only natural. Both have similar souls.
EYE also comes up, Deus Ex, Stalker, ProgRock bands.
You know the stuff that matters.
That SS2 image alone scrams Underrail, ammo types, Psi powers, etc.
Have you organized your files today?
>Too bad, but what can you do
it can't be helped
It's a good game, I recognize that much. I just got tired of it after like 15 hours. I really really would love to play a new real time mmo however.
Sadly all of them are shit. Either by design or by userbase.
I haven't worked with infused leather yet, but I don't see how that'd change anything. As far as I can tell only the Skinner perk would benefit from it like that, once when you infuse the leather, and once when you craft from it. But clothes you only apply when crafting an armor or whatever.
In that sense Skinner sounds a clearly superior perk.
No, but Stalking is an option
Makes me think of a more successful and secure metro.
Its really an amazing work. Thank you Styg.
Incredible atmosphere, solid straightforward story, tight combat. This game reminded me why I enjoy videogames.
Its like a fucking scream in the midst of mediocrity.
Now to wait for Bannerlord.
Use 4chanx. Its embedded in the file.
Yes. 2 of them, anyway, SoC and CoP. Forget Clear Sky. SoC is getting up there in age but it has the tone right. CoP is better in gamey terms but it lacks the mood of the thing.
They're both similar to Underrail in that you can play them at your own pace. Explore, find shit, trade what shit you find, improve your own crap, get scared as fuck, that kinda thing. No twitch-y shooter mechanics so you should be alright.
If you don't enjoy shooters at all you won't enjoy Stalker, it has very few rpg elements
the only reason it has that tag really is the open-world, quests, and inventory management
Thanks, I think I'll pick it up next time it goes on sale. $20 is a bit too much to risk on an experiment.
I had no idea it even got an rpg tag somewhere. GOG simply called it FPS survival horror.
Technically my biggest problem with shooters is that they give me a hell of a motion sickness if they are even remotely fast paced. Playing sniper or something, that doesn't cause the camera to start shaking, is perfectly fine.
I almost wentcrazy like al fabet, but then I got my autims in control and just recycle stuff and sell high price weapons, leave the rest of the shit on the bodies.
It almost seem like my MC seems less like a videogame character and more like a person.
I am fucking lost in this game, and loving it.
I know buddy, money becomes a non-issue midgame unless you want to upgrade your house with all the most expensive shit and snazz, then you need around 50k and that takes a while.
Easiest way to make loadsa Charons is check the loot and recycle the near undamaged items with low value. repair the damaged stuff with low value then with the kits you made.
this way you can horde, but still maintain sanity
>they give me a hell of a motion sickness if they are even remotely fast paced
You should be alright with Stalker. Most of the action takes place outside and it's rare that an enemy has you shaking the camera that hard trying to aim at him. Except Chimeras. Be afraid.
No. But hey, why not. We are usually here to help if you need it. Feel free to make a thread if there isn't one. Most of us are finishing up our playthrough so discussion is sort of slwoing down.
>click enemy to fire at him
>accidently shift mouse right before clicking making me click the ground next to him
>all my action and movement points are wasted getting as close to him as possible giving him nearly 100% hit chance
Hold down shift when targeting. It disables movement unless you have a target selected.
Anyone knows the persuasion skill check level for Simmons to admit
his son killed Knight's kid? I failed with 105.
Not much. You can defend yourself against elemental damage like fire or cold, or against the attacks that do mechanical damage. For other spells, mainly thought control, only your resolve helps. But resolve is pretty much only for psi characters, as it depends on your will.
