>He listens to video game soundtrack while he works out
>he listens to music while he works out
Have fun not understanding the limits of your physical abilities because of "MUH HYPE" while you listen to nigger music.
>not wanting to be a healthy and athletic hermit
>enjoying yourself while lifting
These are really good for some reason
>Benoit's theme was one of my favorites for that
>He doesn't listen to Initial D eurobeat while working out, studying and of course driving
What the fuck is wrong with you? It's like you don't want to do everything at maximum capacity.
after years of inactvity i want to excersise again, however i developed a pain on my foot where the arch meets the heel, does anyone know what kind of excersised i should do?
>inb4 /fit/, they're dicks over there
>Thinking you'll stick with something you don't like doing
/a/ here, anime has better work out music.
Back when I went to the gym, I didn't view the workouts I was doing as fun or enjoyable, they were just the thing I had to do. I didn't get much satisfaction out of the steady progression. I stopped after less than a year.
>He listens to video game soundtrack while he works out
That's more then you'll ever do OP
Maybe you should work out too
Music is music, my man.
Where it came from doesn't really matter.
>tfw all those FWD honda kiddies oversteering off the road fulfilling natural selection

>STILL no uprising
I've literally never failed something while listening to Sunset Heroes. Ever. No matter what I'm doing I succeed before the end of the song.
the best way to prepare for a new bench PR is to listen to some black dudes singing and imagining youre about to get your ass beat by them. it's a really good way to get the adrenaline flowing
"see i'mma fuck you up and it feels so good i got them them quick double kills comin through the hood"
see that just triggers flight or flight if you get into it
maybe i'm a cuck for doing this
yes, literally goat
You call THAT motivational? THIS is motivational:
I want to start learning how to lift weights and do barbell training
but im afraid of going to the gym first time and doing a squat and looking like a retard for not doing it right and every buff guy laughing at me.
Do they usually have like people in the gym who are hired to teach u how to squat correctly and do other stuff.
I dont have any friends who are into lifting.
It's cool because vidya music is designed to keep you motivated and focused and that helps me with my workout and all sorts of things in life oh god help me I just realized can't relate to anything without the help of video>>324055571
>I want to start learning how to lift weights and do barbell training
>but im afraid of going to the gym first time and doing a squat and looking like a retard for not doing it right and every buff guy laughing at me.
first of all, all those buff guys are too busy miring themselves to look at you. 95% of them will think you're cool for working out, and maybe 5% of the major douchbag variety (the same 5% of assholes that exists in every demographic) will silently think bad things of you maybe. if someone gives you shit to your face, tell them to fuck off, it's not like they're going to attack you
point is, don't worry about it. think about 3 years from now: you could build muscle that whole time or you could have been too afraid to even go to the gym. it really doesn't matter if you're skinny now if you're going to be buff when you're done.
>Do they usually have like people in the gym who are hired to teach u how to squat correctly and do other stuff.
yes but they're 95% dumbasses who don't know what they're talking about. one guy told me to squat and OHP wrong when i asked him to check my form. you're best off taking phone video of yourself at a low traffic time
>I dont have any friends who are into lifting.
oh by the way, i don't suggest staying too long on /fit/
that board will utterly fuck you up if you let it get under your skin. sometimes your progress ends up being bad for a while, and some guy on /fit/ trolls you over it and that shit can get to you in a really bad way
it's a really awful board for anything but anecdotal evidence and stuff like that. people are constantly trolling each other about everything
That's some JRPG final boss-tier shit right there. 10/10.
Hot damn, that's some Stewart Copeland shit if I've ever heard it.
It isn't actually Copeland is it? Or some stock-artist?
I dont plan on even going to /fit/
im just reading Starting Strength by Rippetoe and getting into simple barbell training so I can lose body fat.
I dont have a iphone either to take vids of me.
I dunno maybe I should try to buy equipment instead of going to a gym, i would just feel super nervous and too awkward to even start my first squat lift by myself with no experience.
>I dunno maybe I should try to buy equipment instead of going to a gym, i would just feel super nervous and too awkward to even start my first squat lift by myself with no experience.
that would be extremely expensive
lifting alone is way worse if you're a beginner. if you fail a bench set and you're alone, no one's going to be there to bail you out. having a spotter also helps a fuckton with bench in general since you can take sets to failure and stuff like that.
i guess you're way more insecure than i was when i started, but you really just need to deal with it and go to the gym and lift. i don't know what to tell you since i didn't have that problem. all i can tell you is that i don't think of anything when i see dudes who are skinnier than me
So do gyms have like spotters for people who are new or do you need a friend to spot for you?
How do loners even get into lifting without someone showing them the basic ropes and spotting for them?
you just ask a random guy who looks like he knows what he's doing to spot you. most people don't mind doing it as long as they aren't really busy recovering or in the middle of a set themselves. i've been lifting for 3 years and no one has ever declined or done it badly.
you don't need it for every set, just for sets that you aren't sure about. or when you're an absolute beginner, you probably don't really need anyone to spot you since you'll be progressing so fast and there's no need to do sets to near failure yet
Alright, only thing i worry about is doing squats incorrectly the first time and hurting myself
I mean I am reading a book thats super detailed on how to do them right, but I think once I get over the beginners hurdle of doing squats then i will probably be more comfortable in the gym.
Right now I am just now exactly sure how deep I should be. I doubt I will be even able to do a proper squat with anything heavy at all.
>what are breasts the gif
jesus christ, its like these animators have never seen a human being move.
Literally just ended my 6 mile run to this song
