There are plenty of other shooters similar to this, and bullet sponge enemies is the norm for RPG shooters. If you expected anything less, you should maybe get your head checked. It's a different type of game with different mechanics. It's more about consistent accuracy and fire than who sees who first. You have to accept that you don't like the mechanics and move on. Complaining won't get you anything but mockery.
Low TTK is only a good thing in DOOM. You need a high TTK in order to have a good 3D shooter. The perfect example of that being Quake 3.
Also, DayZ already exists as does all of its clones and games in that genre

Fucking this. They had to make snipers fit into the game somehow even though there's no place for it in a vehicle and infantry based shooter. If snipers were realistic every single recon would be sitting almost a mile away from the battlefield picking off soldiers left and right with ease because real life high powered rifles are capable of doing exactly that.

The bullet sponge was a complaint nearly every youtuber had at the event. I doubt it, but hopefully ubisoft takes some notes from that and the upcoming beta to make the damage a little more balanced. Bullet sponges made operation raccoon city boring, even as a mediocre shooter. Idk why developers think bullet sponges extend game times when all it does is just frustrate gamers. Take extra time to program the AI to adapt to player count, it cannot be that difficult in this day and age to make adaptable AI in next generation AAA title . Bullet sponges ruin games.
