I'm playing hoshido first and I'm liking it a lot better than awakening.
And Rinka is nowhere near as useless as people say. She's one of the few, as well as argueablly the best tank you have for the first few chapters, as well as the only axe/club user until chapter 15 if you don't second seal. More importantly, she's the only hammer user until chapter 13, which will make killing those strong as fuck generals a lot easier since your mages are shit.
