(Mostly) I've ignored buying/playing it because it looks like a 2d minecraft knock off but it's a lot more in depth and really fun once you learn the mechanics and objectives. Like I said I'm 50 hours in and learned a lot going off the terraria wiki but I'd be happy to teach anyone

I don't play Terraria any more but I wish you luck, OP.
I would never play games with 90% of /v/, however, and I imagine this thread demonstrates why.
You will be inundated with endless meme spam and cliches and will have a terrible time trying to get them to actually play games well.
We had Terraria groups on /jp/ once in a while and I think /r9k/ still does it now and then, but remember that you still need to filter the shit out by force
