5 minutes into Bloodborne and already this is one of the worst games i've ever played. Cluncky controls, already strong enemies in the first town, back to the beginning if you die, it's just so bad. I'm so done.
Here you go OP, I think you'll find this game way more fun.
Maybe you should go back to tasting penis then. I love how you paid decent money for a game that is universally accepted as a top 3 game of 2015 and now you're quitting because THE FUCKING FIRST FEW ENEMIES YOU RAN INTO ARE TOO HARD?
You know what, you're right. You don't deserve to play this game. You will NEVER get past gascoigne, let alone the harder bosses. Your PS4 will serve you better as the netflix machine it has been so far.
All these half-assed attempts to blame Bloodborne for things that are the player's fault and ultimately trying to call Bloodborne a "bad game" for guaranteed replies.
What pissed me off about the game and i found out much later:
I played it for couple of hours and died few times and everytime i ded i thought:
>Hey where are my fucking souls
I thougt they removed that green ugly spot where i died and i couldnt get them back until i realized that monsters could absorb them
Anybody else get kind of bored of the souls series? It just feels like lessons in futility. It's always, kill enemies, boss here, die to boss, grind a bit, kill boss, lamp/bonfire, do it again. And that's it.
>he thinks people like the game because it's hard
>not because the gameplay mechanics are enjoyable after you get passed the steep learning curve
Nobody feels like they were superior when they got good at this game. You just feel threatened that there's a game that you as a "gamer" can't beat, and you try and compensate by saying the game and it's "hardcore" fans are the problem, and not your inability to adapt.
How? They're the tightest controls that have ever been in a souls game.
>already strong enemies in the first town
So you're basically mad because you can't do it?
>back to the beginning if you die
You mean like every souls game?
I realise this is probably bait, but on the off chance it isn't, I don't mind wasting 2 minutes. If you haven't played the souls games, why would you think you could jump into this?
got your back OP
first, trash that tryhard souls shit.
second, get a real game like witcher 3 (preferably the gog drm free version) and enjoy its fantastic story.

Stop replying to these no life shitposters ffs.
They make these threads for no other reason than to b8 people. I don't understand why doing it entertains them so much, obviously they are no lifers but you have to be a special kind of retard to keep doing it and still find it amusing.
funny stuff mang.
Let me guess u love dlc and pre-orders.
>bloodborne thread is shitposting
>cumfilled bellies and kawaii uguu girls are vidya
IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT
The only thing that really bugs me about bloodborne is enemy hyper armor+lack of a dodge cancel for attacks. I get that enemy hyper armor is to counter R1 spam and lack of dodge cancel is so that people can actually leave themselves open in PVP, but it's fucking bullshit when you're attacking an enemy and all of a sudden it's like "HAHA MOTHERFUCKER! NOW I'M BLOWING RIGHT THROUGH YOUR ATTACKS AND YOU'RE GOING TO EAT MY CLAW IN YOUR FACE HARD BECAUSE YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ATTACK ANIMATION!"
Does upgrading your gun make it able to parry bigger enemies?
I tried out a pistol on my 2nd character and it couldn't parry what the blunderbuss could.
But now my blunderbuss can't parry some of the big enemies I'm fighting.
I tried out testing the parrying window with the pistol on the big brick fuckers. It's definitely easier to parry with the blunderbuss. Maybe the parry window is bigger with a powerful gun.
Upgrading your guns only makes them deal more base damage/increase scaling, it doesn't make them more likely to stagger nor does it increase your parry frames when you shoot.
It certainly doesn't let you parry bigger enemies when you upgrade, but you can parry almost every enemy or boss anyway so it doesn't really matter.
Pistol has less parry frames than the shotgun, however the pistol has fewer start-up frames than the shotgun so you can press L2 later with the pistol and still pull off a parry; the main reason to use shotgun is that is has a wider hitbox for parrying so you don't have to be pinpoint accurate when you do it.
obvious bait thread jesus christ.
The only more responsive controls belong to fashion fighters like Bayo and Viewtiful Joe.
>already strong enemies
To teach you you're supposed to fight.
>back to beginning if you die
There are literally four enemies and half a minute of jogging between the Clinic and the first lamp.
I drew this in paint for these threads
There's only one fucking dog in the town center you cock wrangling idiot you've ruined everything with this gravytrain of squiggly doo I will now gaze intently at my screen to burn you
The only non-boss enemies I've met which don't get stunned are the big church dudes, the big axe dudes, and the big brick dudes. In fact, it's easy to stunlock enemy hunters (the only really threatening enemies) from full to death with only 15 ARC, with the sole exception of Mr. Crow.
WWE wrestler Xavier Woods from the otherwise awesome tag team stable the New Day. Turbo casual nerd though.
>mfw he got sour and couldn't feel the powah
One kind of enemy that does it a lot I've noticed are the hooded guys in the chalice dungeons that have a variety of weapons. Enemy hunters don't really do it except for the bullshit on purpose ones like the edgecrow and Djura like you mentined.
Not really. I like dicking around with different builds, which are varied enough to make the game play differently every time. The controls and engine are tight enough that I can appreciate the little nuances and differences of each weapon or armor set.
Of course, i've played the everliving fuck out of each From game, so it's a rarity that I die to bosses, at least until NG+, so i'm probably an autist.
For as much as people shit on Dark Souls 2, it sure has a ton of variety.
It has its ups and downs. I hate how they split stats (why not make equip burden a function of endurance and strength, and the roll i-frames a function of endurance and dexterity?), but I like how it had four magic schools split along two stats.
Does anybody actually give a shit about this? Apparently it is released but I'm actually not sure. I didn't give a shit about other Telltale stuff like Game of Thrones, TWAU and Borderlands but I still knew when they were released and small things about them without needing to search anything about them. I have heard literally nothing about the Telltale Minecraft.
>tfw slightly cautiously optimistic about Minecraft movie because of Rob McElhenney
>player is shit
>"lol this game sucks"
Come on man this green text shit is lazy, nice opinion and all but your words are honestly a waste of space and you should feel bad for bothering if you're going to be that fucking lazy about your criticisms.
It's a matter of opinion in the end; depends on what you want out of vidya. Can't you faggots deal with that?
I actually went on r/atheism once out of morbid curiousity as to what they'd actually talk about. Sweet fuck was it bad, are those people even self aware? How the fuck do people do it?
I think the i-frames was my only real gripe. Sure, I could find lots of little issues with small stat inefficiencies, but I don't hold games to some kind of crazy standard of perfection. For example, resistance was fucking stupid in Dark Souls 1, but it's just more of a "meh".
In all fairness the game isn't perfect. Camera get in the way and it has been the leading cause of death during boss fights, there are more than a few glitches, and the replay value isn't very high. It's a fucking awesome game but that doesn't mean it's perfect.
And OP. Stop bitching, you knew it was hard before you bought it, that's what it's famous for. If you don't like hard games don't buy Souls games, GodHand or Vanquish.
>already strong enemies in the first town
>back to the beginning if you die
>bored one night
>check out Bloodborne on twitch
>grill gaymur with 100 views
>this should be good
>she's in Central Yharnam
>doing okayish on most mobs, died a few times to bigger mobs
>gets to Gascoigne
>"This is a boss, right?"
>calls in 2 highlevel viewers
>they beat the shit out of the boss for her, she barely even touches it
>backtrack to Cleric Beast by herself
>just before the boss
>summons 2 other highlevel viewers
>they once again beat the shit out of the boss for her
>she unironically says the game is super easy why are people complaining about the difficulty
>Is there any reason not to summon though?
A sense of accomplishment from not being carried through a game. This isn't even a Souls mentality, but where's the fun in having others do the playing for you? At that point you're reduced to a spectator.
Playing with sameleveled friends is one thing because you'd be progressing on your own, but summoning high level players to kill bosses for you is no better than watching a Youtube playthrough.
Though personally I prefer beating games on my own, and having alt characters reserved for friends.
This is entirely how I feel about blood born, my first (maybe last) souls game.
>easy as fuck
>online is confusing, but I get it (mffw some rude dude invades me for the first time but I had some cpu summoned to see what he looks like)
>hard to see shit
>rinse and repeat game flow
Don't forget that god awful framerate. I sold my copy so fast, but I'm deciding to give it another chance by importing old hunters from Asia. Hopefully there's a boost to its former consistent 20 fps.
>Load times max at ten seconds
Stop saying irrelevant things. When did I ever complain about load times?
>Only area with any FPS drop is Old Yharnam
Evidently you can't discern dynamic fps, so don't give any input.
"5 minutes into Bloodborne and already this is one of the worst games i've ever played. Cluncky controls, already strong enemies in the first town, back to the beginning if you die, it's just so bad. I'm so done."
-Everyone who played bloodborne and calls it shit
Why don't you play something more your speed like super mario.
>that "psssh nothing personnel" weapon and attack
>not using the Wheel
FPS is always dynamic. Your hardware will try to pump out as many frames as the software wants it to pump, and it will continuously struggle to do so. FPS drops happen because the hardware can't keep up.
For me, Bloodborne is steady 30, and will drop to sub20 on certain bosses if I destroy some of their limbs. Amygdala especially.
Biggest example of "Look at what we came up with, he is the coolest" boss design that fromsoft has made, fucker jumps and has area attacks out the ass and is just a waiting game, waiting for him to stop attacking so you can hit him.
That's a fantastic strawman you built but since you have down's syndrome I feel like I should explain it a bit more to you. People that say bloodborne is bad because it's hard are probably the kind of people that can only keep up with a game as easy as mario. You can like both of the games but what I'm saying is if someone says bloodborne is bad because of its difficulty then they probably are too slow for a game like that. I only repeated it because kids with down's syndrome learn better from repetition.
The thing with the souls series is that like older games, there's not only no spoon feeding but a complete lack of explanation.
You have to figure things out yourself, which is I guess part of the charm.
Make no mistakes Souls games are hard for new players to the series.
My only nitpick of the game is that knowledge isn't applied progressively. Each enemy is different and act dissimilar to others, it might take a few deaths before you figure out how your supposed to kill that particular creature.
I've just started playing DaS on PC and while I'm sort of enjoying it, it's definitely frustrating at times. At the end of the day it's a series that deliberately tries to punish you.
AHHHH CHRIS..... or SOME call him CHRISM
>implying you can't simplify any game like this
Shit tier bait.
>Cluncky controls, already strong enemies in the first town, back to the beginning if you die, it's just so bad.
