I'm looking forward to playing my non-seasonal heroes this season, because they're finally not locked out of exclusive gear. Starting a new character every season just to abandon it when it ends, instead of investing into your main character is stupid.

After a couple tries I almost did the Vyr's one on my wizard, but only after I completed all the objectives did I learn that you have to kill ALL of the monsters in the timelimit for mastery.

It's really fun for a while, at least for me. I climbed to top 50 HC monk for a week 2 seasons ago. I died in my push for top 20 and it was really satisfying to get closure.

If anything, Blizzs' strategy for game balance seems to be finding what isn't used, and then buffing it until people make an OP build out of it. Fairly good chance that it was left untouched. I think the own 'nerf' I remember is cluster arrow for hunters shooting off less rockets, but even that came in exhange with a big increase in base damage.

They've changed the Leapquake set Earthen Might from a 4 piece to 6 piece and upped the bonuses significantly and given bonuses to skills like Siesmic Slam and Ancient Spear. So damn satisfying leaping around everywhere like the Hulk and tearing up the ground with Siesmic Slam.

I would say D2 aged extremely well. It's a 2000 game but it's definitely still extremely playable. The graphics don't get in the way of the gameplay. Diablo 1 is much less accessible now, but D2 is fine. If you'll play Path of Exile, a 2013 game, you'll play D2.

ahahah, you have no clue how attack speed, proc effects or stack building works do you? Generally you use the weapons that fit your build. Thorn wants 1h for the attack speed as does the blessed shield build.
