As stuff like >>323972643 seems to go well I decided to make a nice counterpart.
What are we playing guys? All Nintendo consoles and discussion welcome
Just hope Sakurai fucks off for Smash 5
Aw yeah, this so much! He didn't even want to make Tr4sh, and it shows.
i see you nintenbros
absolutely not at all, tropical freeze is nuts, do it for david wise
Anon you got your post backwards. Might wanna fix that.
SILLY XBOT FRIEND FLIP YOUR POST AROUND
Currently playing through Wind Waker with a friend because he's never played a Zelda game before.
Also perpetually waiting for a proper Chibi Robo squeal. At least the Amiibo is cute.
POST BEST 3DS THEME MUSIC
Zip Lash sold like crap, don't know about the amiibo
>“To be honest, this might be the last chance for us,” says Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe. “I’ve continually thought about ways to build this into a mainstream success,” Tanabe says of the franchise. “We’ve challenged ourselves in assorted ways along those lines, but I can’t say that we’ve found the answer yet.”
Unless a miracle happens whether it be Nintendo giving Chibi another try with a game more like his game of origin or people rally on Miiverse, I hate to say Chibi is now at an indefinite unplug
You know its true
Yeah... I seriously would not be surprised if the amiibo outsold the game after they started selling it standalone. It's such a shame that they kept trying to reinvent the series.
Thanks, we will. I would recommend it, it's a pretty good game.
Hey lads. Im thinking of buying a wii u when i get my tax money is it worth it? Or should i get a 3ds
Always check the library before buying a new console. If there are no games out right now that you want, it's not worth buying.
Amiibo cards are a blessing. It's a wonder why Nintendo hasn't capitalized on them yet.
NX with tvOS would be awesome.
I like the interface, it's beautiful and simple.
I want iTunes to download a lot of movies on my console and Spotify to hear music while I'm playing.
World 6 of wooly world. I don't really like it but I only have myself to blame because I knew I wouldn't like it much. I've never been a fan of platformers that have no challenge and rely on engagement entirely from collectibles
Would any of you prefer a 3ds XXXXL that was basically the size of a gamepad and had sticks instead of nubs?
I love the comfort and size of the gamepad so much, 3ds is just to uncomfortable to play
It has his exclusive games.
I want a Nintendo console that I can play my Mario's and Nintendo's exclusive but in the same console watch movies and listen to music while I'm playing Splatoon and if it's an hybrid listen music while I'm walking on the streets and then play some games.
Is like PS4 and Xbone but iTunes would be better because it has the most biggest catalog on movies and if Sony has the exclusivity of Spotify they can put Apple Music (I personally don't like Apple Music but is better than nothing)
My friend brought up a good point of why is it called a "3"ds when there's only 2 screens?
He thinks there's a 3rd screen you can only see subliminally that is being used to brainwash nintendrones.
>Nintendo once made a game featuring Time Traveling called Time Twist
>It had the KKK, the Holocaust, and an exorcism at Bethlehem
There ARE 3 screens, you idiots. The upper screen is actually 2 screens combined in one, with bits pointing to the left and others to the right, that's how they manage to do the 3D effect.
Blue Storm had this
go hand in hand
"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time." 4
Been playing Codename STEAM. Got it for like $18. Pretty good.
Mah nigga. Only thing is it's a pain finding a repo that has Canada's Worst Driver. Genesis has it listed but no streams for the episodes I want to watch.
Should Jigglypuff get a game about her?
I feel that a Jigglypuff game could be a wonderful thing for everyone.
But Anon that would be a
He goes to World 1-2 and then grabs a koopa troopa shell. Then he find a narrow place, throws the shell and keeps jumping on it. It just keeps going till the time runs out too.
I've started playing Megaman Zero 1 on the MMZ Collection on the way home from work.
The missions are rather short so I can easily get multiple tries at going for an A or S rank going.
You can see that this game was designed for a handheld that has no sleep function. I like that.
Most of my other DS and 3DS games are fucklong JRPGs that arent too amazing for pick up and play unless you want to grind for half an hour.
It feels to me like the 3DS suffered a lot from Capcom and Konami not making Megamans and Castlevanias anymore. These things were great mainstays on handhelds ever since the brick gameboy.
I give that a 3 out of 10
You can like only golden era nintendo or mediocre shells of what the games used to be.
Why would you need to buy a blu ray player and a dedicated video game console? they make less space and they clutter on your living room.
I want all in one console and I like iTunes because they have good video quality and they are digital, not everything is on Netflix and I don't buy blu ray discs anymore, discs are obsolete technology.
>Can't find Eternald Darkness anywhere
>Why would you need to buy a blu ray player
> and I don't buy blu ray discs anymore, discs are obsolete technology.
You retards who want to turn my videogames into movies are beyond salvation.
No surprise that you actually defend the digital ripoffs too.
I remember an interview awhile back that said that they were orignally planning to code Isabelle in Animal Crossing: New Leaf to code the next Smash Bros game for Sakurai. Making it so that people would have to play New Leaf in order to get Smash Bros released.
If they can do that, it's possible to code Nintendo games to reproduce more Nintendo games.
Make the NX a nintendo ds console where you put 1 game in on the top and 1 game in on the bottom and after several hours of playing both of them they'll make a baby game that has aspects of both parent games, which you can then breed with your friends games.
>tfw Kirby Woodwork theme has a unique acoustic green greens/peanut plains mix
>No has put it up on youtube yet
See, my idea for how a game about Jigglypuff would work would be pretty fun, hear me out.
You play as a Jigglypuff who wants to be everyone's favorite idol and you're willing to do anything to become the best. You must go out and become the most popular media sensation by wooing crowds or by ruining the reputations of others.
Jigglypuff has to procure its own outfits and venues to give performances to gain popularity. But you can also track down your competition and either expose them, use your singing to put them to sleep and into a compromising position or beat them and/or their Pokemon into submission. Jiggly's balloon body can be used to infiltrate apartments and deflate to hide in. Jigglypuff would either need to purchase or loot materials to craft outfits to wear when putting on shows, material could be acquired by beating up enemies and taking their shit. Eventually, Jigglypuff can unlock more techniques to use in combat and to solve "puzzles" as you gain EXP.
Think part No More Heroes, part Deus Ex/Hitman and part IdolM@ster, but set in the world of Pokemon.
>Making it so that people would have to play New Leaf in order to get Smash Bros released
I wonder who's behind this idea
I already have a gaming PC and I can play emulators on it.
I talking about the new Nintendo games that they are on Wii U, even if they exist a emulator it will not be same because of the Nintendo Network service.
I put it on my storage or on an external hard drive and if I got to a trip I can download to iCloud and then I can still watching movies on my portable console, digital is better.
It's a gaming console and its able to reproduce movies, if you don't like movies just don't buy or download any movie and just play games, but I want to play games and watch movies on the same system without making space for another device.
>Make the NX a nintendo ds console where you put 1 game in on the top and 1 game in on the bottom and after several hours of playing both of them they'll make a baby game that has aspects of both parent games, which you can then breed with your friends games.
>tfw mixing any game with XCX
>W101 x Smash Bros
>Get the game that was originally pitched
Probably is gonna have Dragon Quest 11, Zelda Wii U and Final Fantasy 14.
It has an external graphic card like many gaming laptops, so probably is going to have PC specs and upgradeable hardware.
I remember when "Project Cafe" was rumoured to be portable in that it had a built in projector and you could just aim it at any blank wall to play it.
Granted that was only a few years ago.
I tied the WR at the moment. I don't think there's any faster method for this stage.
Anyone want to try it out?
Xenoblade Chronicles X. I like it, but I am grinding so fucking much. Anyone know how to level up fast? Currently level 15, and feels like en eternity to get to lvl 16. Also sucks that apparently the main reason I bought this game, the mechs, aren't unlocked until like 40 hours into the story.
Thanks to all the Pokemon 20th anniversary stuff I'm seeing all across the internet, I'm on an extreme Pokemon kick now. I'm juggling new games in Silver, Platinum, and X. I might even pop Y in again and see if I can get any good Wonder Trades for my 72 bajillion failed attempts at a shiny Mawile
Once you get a Skell, leveling up is no longer an issue. Also, you don't really need to grind at all, what are you doing? Just do the side missions and you'll be more than fine.
Do the side missions? Actually as funny as this sounds, I never do any side missions in any RPG/JRPG. I always tackle main story first, then save all my exploring and side mission for the end game. Did I fuck up by doing this? How much do Side missions help?
>Did I fuck up by doing this?
Yes. Side missions in this game are actually relevant to the plot. I think you can still do them all anyway, so go do them.
How much do Side missions help?
A fuck ton.
Why grind enemies like a retard when you can do side quests which include killing enemies and give you exp rewards on top of that?
You're not thinking efficiently.
You dont need to do the filler missions, but the affinity quests actually give you plot points, actual skills you can use with your character and they help you fill those exp gaps.
Both. The handshake ones are usually locked behind heart requirements, and doing missions increases your party hearts. Btw, use other characters other than Elma and Lin for the non story missions, you'll thank me later.
Damn, but I like Elma and Lin (though Lin is garbage as a actual team member since she always gets killed, but I like her scenes so far). Anyways does everyone level up even if they aren't in your main party like in Xenoblade Chronicles?
Don't worry, you'll use them a lot anyway, since they are required for all the story missions and a good chunk of the handshake ones too, but you need to get hearts for all the other characters, and that takes time. Have in mind that Gwin and Lao only require one heart, and Doug 3. No. But they all get BPs, so you can at least upgrade their arts and give them skills right away. Underleveled characters gain experience faster, so it's not a big deal anyway.
If it wasnt for Lin your whole party would die. She soaks up the blunt of the damage.
People tell you to take her and Elma out for non mandatory quests because pretty much all story quests require them anyways so its not hard to keep their affinity up.
Like you will end up using them for the majority of the time anyways.
Guys go check outside, I think there may be pigs flying
How does this work on 10.3 O3ds
Do I install a folder called menu-hax in the system folder?
>how can we prevent it from un-happening
Freeze time so it's never morning in America again.
Who /fire emblem/ here? I just started Chapter 4 in FE10. I've already beat FE6-9. I want to start a SNES FE next. I have 3, 4, and 5 to choose from. Which one should I start with?
>when you get lucky with a unit's stat gains and he destroys everything
Is half hour a necro on /v/?
Anyway, I personally played FE7 (of course) first, then went 8, 9, 10, then 6. Exactly where you are now. Then, I did 3, 4, and STILL haven't completed 5 (it's absolutely amazing, but it's hard, and I lost some save data, I'm actually replaying 4 for such a purpose).
Honestly, 3 is really fun, but I can't in good conscience say it's better than 4 or 5. If you want, you can play Shadow Dragon and the fan translated New Mystery in its place. FE3 omits a few characters (very minor) that were in FE1, and Shadow Dragon puts them back, but even so I DO recommend it. Fire Emblem 1 I will never play, 3 and 11 just entirely omit the need. Fire Emblem: Gaiden is... well, it's fast to beat, and has a few neat maps. But put on some music and be prepared to grind your units up. Yeah, you can grind. And you need to.
I have GameYob set up & was thinking of buying rondo of swords,I'am good to go for the series?
I'll need a Gameboy Advance emulator huh
Expecting this in the mail tomorrow. I'm playing Xenoblade right now. I hope Hyrule is fun.
Played Paper Jam for a couple hours and im amazed Nintendo actually listened to feedback for once and didn't cram a bunch of tutorials down our throats. Makes things progress a lot faster and is less annoying.
I agree, but I'm still pretty bored. They really need to start sticking original characters into these games again, I don't want to play a game with nothing but toads and goombas for the millionth time
Yeah Alphadream has gotten lazy and these games probably require minimal effort to make at this point and still put up solid sales numbers so they may not change things up for a while if ever.
Seeing these Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo threads next to each other made me think of pic related. If the other 2 threads are made, it's all over.
I'm finishing Xenoblade Chronicles X right now on my WiiU, but I also have DK tropical freeze, Wind Waker, and Bayonetta 2 back logged.
On my 3DS I'm finishing Majora's mask atm, and I have Bravely Default, Conception 2, Devil Survivor 2, SMTIV, and Persona Q.
Which should I play first friends?
I played it when borrowing ot from a friend. Its fun. Ive never played a warriors game before so it felt fresh bit also repetative at times. Ive yet to buy it but ill snag it if i see it go on sale anywhere
Hey anons, if I buy Metroid Zero Mission today, will that factor into the My Nintendo thing launching in March?
>Metroid Zero Mission
That reminds me
>available on the Wii U shop but not the 3DS shop
Can anyone explain why this is?
That's an overstatement.
Although MK8 I think is the strongest in the entire series (still will always be biased towards MK64 though)
If anyone is going to buy a WiiU for a single game then that game would be Xenoblade Chronicles X
Any Dark Souls-like games in the 3DS? RPGs are good and all, but I'm in need of some dungeon crawling 3rd person adventure.
I'm already playing MonHun4U.
Majora's mask and OoT can both be rushed to make the games short but overall they are around the same length of you get all heart pieces and do the side quests in MM.
Both games are amazing and on par with one another. OoT will always be my favourite because of nostalgia but I truly believe Majora's Mask is the better game overall.
I hate talking about the NX but let's try to spice up the thread.
Do you think Nintendo will really release the NX this year?
Personally, I think yes. But the NX is a handheld in my opinion, not a home console.
1 new game every 6 months.
I seriously hope there arent people here falling for the NX meme, because that thing will crash and burn
Damn yes. Unlike those musou games, the Unlimited games are actual One Piece games. Sure, there are battles but also exploration and collecting stuff. Adventure, not just fighting.
