Why buy a vidya game console when a PC can do so much more?
buy a console if you want to buy console games, and a PC if you want to play PC games
i'll bet that not even 5% of the people buying PCs because /v/ told them to can name even one PC exclusive
I just picked up a really cheap laptop for work, originally only planned on using it for word processing and java programming, but it's pretty capable for games. I can max out most things up til 2013, and even then I can run 1080p mid settings at least.
>i'll bet that not even 5% of the people buying PCs because /v/ told them to can name even one PC exclusive
Because some of the games I want to play will never get a PC port in it's most relevant time. PCucks usually gets ports or sloppy seconds that consolefags have played to death and only get shit stuff like Undertale and Touhou as something "PC exclusive".
let the game be the decision what system you get
Exclusives are fucking retarded. One company paying for exclusivity to one console doesn't make the console better, it just makes the others worse. It's the exact opposite of a feature, and it should fucking stop. Retards going "my exclusives" shit me.
We all have PCs. Most of us have PCs capable of playing most of the latest games.
But then there are those like me, who have no choice but to buy consoles because there are games for those consoles that we want to play. Unless you're a poorfag, anyway. I'm not gonna just not play my favorite games just because of this retarded bullshit PC/console war shit you guys keep forcing.
I graduated my CS course last year. I don't program full-time but I still keep on top of it and learn in my own time.
The only part of my CS course that's actively helped me so far is the generic hardware certification I got, I'm stuck doing shitty tech work for a business. I hope I'm not stuck like this forever.
As a PC owner who doesn't want to buy a bloodborne box, sometimes exclusives are the only option for a company over budget.
Other times the devs are cheap fucks and sell out to the first offer a company makes
Just remember to follow the guidance given by the premier PC gaming sub, anons.
>buying a PC because /v/ told you to
>not already owning a PC
That aside, my favourite of 2016 was Pillars of Eternity. I don't understand all the complaints it received, I was hooked start to finish.
I can respect that. PC/PS4/Vita is the best combination IMO. That's including a desktop and a capable laptop. Poorfags won't understand the benefits of having a big screen/portable of the two best platforms. PS4 for exclusives, Vita for weeb games, PC for everything else.
> when a PC can do so much more?
But a console can play many more games. PCs are for pirating, consoles are for buying games. It has been this way ever since digital took over PC.
Were you the guy who made this thread as well?
I just uncovered it. Funny how he was wrong.
I hope this is b8. I used to go on Reddit, specifically that sub. It's not really accurate, the circlejerk is mostly a joke, but the lingo gets on my nerves. I deleted my account after getting permabanned on that sub for making a comment saying "Kylo Ren kills Han Solo".
>Implying anyone but virgins own a "gaming PC"
Normal people only use phones, tablets, laptops. Thats why pc gaming is dying. The only reason its still going is cancerous f2p games for people in third world countries
>I deleted my account after getting permabanned on that sub for making a comment saying "Kylo Ren kills Han Solo".
Are you autistic? I literally deleted my account. reddit.com/u/NeroOfRome
Indisputably inferior, yes, but also popular. Consoles are inferior hardware as well, but they're still relevant. We're already starting to hit a wall in how good we can make graphics, just compare the jump from 5th gen to 6th gen to the jump from 6th to 7th. I won't be surprised if eventually mobile shit gets good enough hardware that people will just plug them into their TV and attach a controller.
What if I told you guys that I am a Reddit user.
Used to have the stereotypical /v/ mindset about Reddit
>all of them are faggot pieces of shit living in a hugbox
But I found that its the only place to have actual serious discussions anymore because 4chan is a fucking shell of what it used to be.
/v/ talks shit about Reddit, but it's far more possible to have a serious discussion there since they don't spout memes often. I almost never saw anyone use 'XD' or 'LMAO' there.
