Not him but it's accurate. Most ENBfags are completely retarded.
Made a backup save of my SD card for 3DS CFW trickery so I happen to have some Fantasy Life screenshots I took inadvertently. (I think it was the Select button or something?)
mindflvx screens. he says he edited timecyc + sweetfx
Yeah don't bother with the current crop of ENBs at the moment the good modders haven't released theirs yet
that's just a reshade preset https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3571/
Are you using ReShade/SweetFX in this? I honestly can't tell because vanilla FEAR still looks so fucking good.
They just don't make 'em like they used to.
dude in the heli killed all of us
ReShade is a generic tool that works with most DX9, DX10 and DX11 games. ENB is more game-specific and usually works best with DX9, but it also has Depth Buffer access, which means it can add shadows and shit.
I wish I could make this game look better, all the textures look like shit up close
Reshade current is all fucked up. I don't know what they did but it's not the same as sweetfx or the early reshade betas.
You used to just drop the files into your game directory then fiddle with the text file config, now they made an installer and it's all automatic and you have to configure the values in the program and it's fucking autistic and I can't deal with it.
How do I install reshade?
I'm using Realistic Wasteland Lighting Enhancement with the optional ReShade preset that comes with it along with every retexture that exists for the game. Also made a few ini tweaks to improve draw distance for vegetation and whatnot. I really don't think vanilla looks that bad, but I have the specs to make it look better, so I made it look better. Maybe I'm just some kind of mutant, but I play games that came out in the 90's and have no issues with "eye strain" or how passable they look.
>Looks almost playable
Oh, suck a chode.
You still do that. Once reshade is installed, head into your game folder and click on the reshade folder, in there you will .cfg files. Those files are basically your sweetfx_settings.txt that you are used to. McFx for example controls only the marty mcfly fx parameters.
Hacknet, its basically Uplink with some new stuff and a slightly more realistic interface.
I'm considering waiting for Dragons Dogma's ENB to be a bit more developed.
The filthy pirates all have DoF enabled this is the best shot there is.
This will look good with DoF disabled though.
ENB for Skyrim in particular actually has lighting and weather tweaks now that significantly alter the look of the game beyond basic color correction
But yeah most ENBs/reshades are just like LET'S TURN THE CONTRAST TO 1000000000 AND DESATURATE/OVERSATURATE EVERYTHING
please I keep posting these and nobody seems to care
that looks cool I honestly think game designer miss out on an opportunity to turn hacking sims into actual educational material, but these games have more of a niche audience anyway
It's pretty good, I haven't really spent too much time with it yet, I've been busy with a bunch of other games. I wouldn't exactly call it educational but it will definitely help you learn basic unix commands (though why it would suggest using "cat" to read something instead of "less" is beyond me). Only thing that really irritated me in the time I've put into it is that it doesn't really support enough terminal stuff to really hold up to scrutiny, there were a bunch of times I wanted to use "man command" or "command - h" but it doesn't work.
I appreciate the screenshots, but honestly I find skyrim to be kinda bland. No matter what graphics modifications I see on it, it still looks like Skyrim to me. I guess I'm desensitized after seeing it so much over the years. Maybe it's the art direction, I don't know.
Anyone here who knows a lot about Reshade? I have some questions about a couple of the shaders.
It doesn't look good right now, the AO sucks bad.
I grabbed a enb off of the dragons dogma general and it looks okay. AO does cause flickering unfortunately. And enb does increase load times.
that looks great, a big problem with that game was that it was way to fucking bright even at night so there was no point in using night vision because you could see perfectly without them
It's about the sharpening shaders. There are so many and I want to know what differs in them. I also have ioFX's sharpening on top of the framework.
That's waaaaay too saturated. I too had issue with the grass in saturating the game but I adjusted it heavily and now it looks okay. Image not related. I thought this was too green, yours is next level.
I just mean art wise though, the AO is smudgy.
Check above your post.
Basically want some information/opinions on:
High Pass Sharpening
The two former I haven't ever tweaked since sharpening is kind of a subtle thing, hard to know what it does exactly.
I've always mainly stuck with lumasharpen, also I'm the same guy with enb screenshot. For some reason my screenshots are turning up brighter in the screenshots than in game. I just compared between windowed mode and a screenshot open in photo viewer. It looks darker than the screenshot implies so it's not as green I guess I would say. Gonna try some screenshots with dxtory and see how they turn out.
Nah that reshade looks awful.
This is NV, not 3. I realize it doesn't look stellar, but I would hardly call it shit.
From what I understand Adaptive Sharpen only sharpens blurry edges and avoids flat areas.
Luma Sharpen, sharpens everything. I haven't fiddled with sharpening settings much myself. I find that more often than not theres either too much of it or too little that its barely noticeable.
>that reshade looks awful
>posts that pic
Yes. sorry i don't like shitty bright filters.
>looks like vanilla
max contrast: on
>That blue color
Come on man.
0/10 bait, you're using your own shitty reshade in your pics. Considering how you're running the game on lowest settings and your pics look like shit you're probably some Brazilian monkey third worlder with a shit opinion
The game is blue at night you retard, just like real life.
>poorfag can't even run sweetfx
I'm not using a reshade in my pics though, it's also not on lowest settings, kill yourself you salty shiller.
It's only because of the light it's pretty easy to see especially with the moon.
I just deleted E3 Phantom Pain reset - I don't like my screen. What's a good preset with natural colours?
>third world brazilian monkey calling others poorfags
There wasn't one that I ever saw. I liked mine the best.
>Real life is blue at night
Holy shit what, i'm pretty sure it's black at night.
The moon might make it brigher but that doesn't mean it's blue.
Where do you get that he's brazilian from?
Yup. The most interesting visual mod I found was that one that adds the 4k parralax textures. It made the cobblestone paths look fucky, like the stones were collapsed in on themselves yet still 3d-ish. Real trippy to walk over.
>Holy shit what, i'm pretty sure it's black at night.
Are you fucking colorblind?
You can turn it off.
No. It's for sure black outside.
If you're gonna post screenshots try not to post your shit tier extra low settings screens
Kek, look at all these terrible ENB presets in this thread, nigga. Having the possibility to mod is completely different than having actual good taste, some people should stuck with consoles 2bh
Tell me about it. Peds hurt me
>Constantly point out how someone's screenshot is "extra low"
>I do the same thing to you
Jesus dude i didn't want to hurt your feelings, you gonna be alright champ?
>u mad? ;)
Fuck lads, I'm comfy right now listening to Dakota and driving countryside
A little goes a long way.
Danke. I don't want to move onto DS3, but it's an obligation.
just took some pics from a friends preset
