is expertise worth it for assault rifles?
Way to start a thread anon.
And yes its worth it.
UNDERRAIL THREAD, GET IN HERE JACKS!
is that better?
ok ill remember next time
I kept taking the train between Core City, the University, and Fort Apogee because I'm lazy, but I finally went wandering through the tunnels and they are literally like 2 screens apart.
Those trains would be completely useless if half my inventory wasn't charons.
You kinda just gotta wander around the caves until you find him. Here's a map if you want easy mode.
The answer is kinda spoilery. But you can collect plenty of information about them through several sources, and can even report in the quest before fully solving it. Just keep asking around and explore. If certain conditions are met, you can fully solve it by
about the end of the game.
Anyone completed the free drones questline? they sending me on a solo mission to destroy some elevator in some protectorate lab.
Problem is I have zero stealth, so I tried going in guns blazing but got my ass handed to me by the army and some mecha-robo that shows up.
There any trick to this quest or should I just try getting gud?
I remember one anon talking about fighting the CAU during the Free Drones questline, something that never happened to me. Have I missed a quest, or did he just storm Fort Apogee for shits and giggles or something?
>managed to get through the game with half assed shitty build carried by stealth
>finally meet Tchort
Welp, I guess that's that then.
>completed Abram's assigments
Holy shit i was not ready.
It's hilarious that underrail has such a cool setting which houses so many cool factions and even motherfucking
aliens who apparently were a masters of entire galaxy before some major cataclysm.
It was kinda funny actually, I was suspicious and nervous as fuck about her since Ola said she might be a spy and Mykola said he doesn't have a daughter.
Then when I finally started to trust her, they killed her.
Is there a good list of psi mentors yet?
>a random one is somewhere inside depot a
>doctors generally tend to have at least one in their inventory
>one is at higher level of core city inside the housing upgrade shop
>generally you can find one in old biocorp facilities like the one to the northwest in upper underrail or the one with coil spiders
>one is inside Evelyn bunker
>one in the hidden mushroom brew stash for Dude
Oh. That is such a disappointment. Fuck you anon, for getting me hyped for nothing. ;_;
That fucking high tech ship materializing out of nowhereis hands down the coolest moment of the game. You think you finally got this shit figured out, then suddenly surprise motherfucker.
>They at least were incredibly powerful
That is definetly true, but I don't believe in the whole "
rulers of the galaxystuff.
You will meet exactly 2 of them in the game. Actually, you meet one pretty early in the game.
>tfw my character even with psi HP debuff will have more than 500 HP on level 25
>tfw the only creatures going that high are immortal superhumans or genetically modified tchortists
Feels great to be a psionic superhuman.
The latter, I never noticed the former. And the game had only two characters
that wrecked my shit so hard.
The general suspicion came from his dialogue though, and the
Oculus file confirmed I was on the right track.
Is there any CE scripts for always catching the fish?
Shit's impossible on 3 dex.
>The general suspicion came from his dialogue though
Huh, I always thought he was doing a pretty good job at hiding it, seemed pretty normal.
I don't need to, one piece of lead per enemy is enough.
Dumping a stat all the way to 3 makes you irredeemably shit at stuff related to it

Reminds me of that guy with 3 STR and no pack rathound who coplained about having to leave all the loot behind.
>That part where you have to go to the island for the black eels to get cargo and run from yourself
That was pretty tough. I don't think I would've gotten out without my single flashbang and forcefield. I survived with 3 hp.
Welp. If only I knew that before hand. No regrets though, was a fun trip. Thanks though for the info.
>Not standing in the light
The boatman literally tells you everything was fine until he turned his flashlight off, ans has a lantern this time.
Listen to what NPCs tell you, it pays off.
Am I the only one bothered by the Cloaking device being an expensive black cloth on a timer? There are so many ways to increase stealth with gear. It would make a lot more sense if it granted invisibility against enemies with true sight instead. That would justify the relatively high energy consumption, and would fill a niche that can be useful for primarily stealth characters who right now only have vents if they want to avoid bots.
>Am I the only one bothered by the Cloaking device being an expensive black cloth on a timer?
It's expensive black cloth on a timer and on steroids though.
Crafted one can get you almost +100 stealth. Pretty useful for sneaking very close to someone or to buff Snipe damage.
I'm playing a psi monk right now and I don't think anything would be a good as psi.
You could probably just get throwing for crowd control and crafting skills to make good armor fast.
Also ninja tabi and Rathound king's armor for movement points.
