>there will never be a complete edition/remaster of this work of art
Why do you pretend that this game doesn't exist, Capcom?
It was a fairly experimental game/movie and didn't do that hot, plus it hasn't even been that long.
Capcom can pretend lost planet 3 doesn't exist all they want because everyone else does too, but I wish they'd make a new one.
>we got a cameo of a trans side-character from an 80s game in Street Fighter
>Asura doesn't even get mentioned in SF even though he fought Ryu and Akuma
They should do a Dragons Dogma / Final Fantasy 14-thing. Just tweak away all the flaws and rerelease it.
>bought it off XBL for 10 bucks expecting a fun time-waster
>mfw instead I got one of the most engaging vidya games I've played in ages
>mfw that music
>mfw that story
>mfw that hype
>mfw that ending
goddamn. this game will never get the respect it deserves. it may be a little weak in the gameplay department but they set out to make a playable anime and they fucking nailed it
>Asura's Wrath engaging combat with satisfying QTEs
>reincarnated Asura and Yasha will never be in Street Fighter V
God why cant capcom see the potential of this IP? Shitposts qte jokes aside, seriously one of the best games ive ever played.
>that art style
>that final boss
My keyboard arrived yesterday and I pretty much went insane and pulled an all-nighter of shitposting on 4chan, about 5 straight hours from the evening into late midnight. Just couldn't stop. So, it's about 3 in the morning and I'm inside /v/. Shitposting through the thread, with that relaxing blue they have in the background, made me start to drift off into sleep. I rested my eyes and I fell asleep with the keyboard still under my fingers.
Hours and hours later, I finally woke up. My brain couldn't process shit; I just awoke sitting in a basement looking at 4chan and I didn't know what was going on. My body melted into the posts in the thread. I felt this weird feeling wash over me and everything in-thread felt 10000x more terrible like a heightened shitpost. I felt like I could feel the angry nerds, or the heat of their basements, or the horrid smell choking me. My brain started to finally process and I began realizing I still had the keyboard in my hands and this was 4chan.
The feeling lasted for another minute or so until I began realizing everything. Even without that "feeling" the thread still felt shit because of how good the keyboard is, but for that brief moment of waking up with the keyboard, I could feel the actual reality of the shitpost.
A graphical spit shine and having the true ending on disk would be good and all, but what I would really like to see from a remake would be the combat system getting an upgrade. Its simple and it works as is, but I think there is a lot more that could have been done with it. Like for a guy with 6 arms you would think he would have a dedicated grab move instead of just quick time prompts. Also make the turtle and elephant enemies not a total chore to fight.
>tfw have the game but can't play it because the dub voices are fucking terrible and the subtitles for the original voices are so wrong it looks like a 10 year old mexican was translating.
I really want to play it but fuck those subtitles in the ass.
>The trailers look like they have better gameplay than the actual game
From what I heard. The game s I ld like shit because Capcom completely failed at advertising it. The true ending was made into DLC because it didn't sell enough to warrant a full sequel so the had to compress the planned sequel into the true end DLC.
Best part of the game was the fight with Chakravartin. Because he had his own QTEs that he started messing up as you beat his as through the fight. Which was a really nice creative touch.
Other than that it had some cool moments and there was one anime short in it that was really rad but I'd never call the game a masterpiece, I'd barely call it a game.
I'd kill for a remake or spiritual successor that made the combat system actually fun outside of the few really good bosses. The generic Vlitra were a snore and the bosses only got good from like Deus onwards.
My first language isn't even english and I can't stand listening to dubs, I can't for the life of me understand how americlaps can. Also if you know like 5% moon you can hear how they butchered the real dialogue and made up their own.
I'm waiting for a remaster/pc-release with modded subs.
why do "games" like life is strange, telltale shit, other interactive visual novels get fucking hate on by 4chan, but literally QTE: The Game is fucking praised here? This shit has literally no gameplay, if I wanted to watch anime, I'd watch anime. I don't want to press up every couple of minutes so the anime knows I'm paying attention.
Because it has an actually good story instead of being a Lesbian Simulator or pretending to have choices when it doesn't.
No one would fault you for just watching it on youtube instead of playing it, but it's miles ahead of that other trash..
I'd say life is strange and asura's wrath are on a very similar level writing-wise, and both lack any sort of 'gameplay' however, life is strange wasn't anime bullshit, so it had that going for it.
>Her Story was considered one the greatest games of 2015
What was you favorite moment /v/?
>Hurtling through earth's atmosphere as the Shinkoku space fleeet battlees gohma around you and you punch vlitra into submission
>Fightng against Wyzen as he became kaiju and then planet sized
>Facing off against Augus on the moon and getting skewred against the earth
>Asura losing it over the girl dying and obliterating an entire armada in thee span of 2 minutes
>Yasha's trench run to stop the Brahmastra
>Sergei getting fucking rekt
>Yasha's space motorcyle
>The battle against Deus
>The battle against the evolved Vlitra and then vlitra's asura clone in the core of the earth
>The final battle against yasha as he sacrifices himself
>Growing to the size of a planet and flying through space as Chakravartin threw plants and stars at you
>The final battle inside the event horizon when chakravartin gets his own QTE's to counter yours and kill him, making the big bang
What is this from? I didn't know there were Asura's Wrath figures.
Also, dragons dogma got a port, maybe if we all email capcom it'll have a chance... ;_;
wouldn't be the first time Capcom had a great game on their hands and failed miserably to get the word out
The final battle easy, especially when
Chacravartin starts using his own QTE. However the part right after the Wyzen fight with Asura face down in the dirt with no arms looking dead as fuck with Yasha standing over him, only for Asura to flip his head up and give Yasha the angriest look is a close second
>That fistbump QTE
You were always a brother, never an enemy.
Memes aside it's not better than Wolf Among us or Walking Dead, it's different and animeish, more action, but again it's not actually better.
None of them are special and all of them ARE NOT GAMES.
Chakravartin was stupid, I honestly don't understand why they decided to do a fucking oppressive monotheistic omnipotent deity in Hindu out of all the things, it makes no sense.
I know this is probably a stupid complaint but play Asura's and knowing/liking Vedic mythology was pain.
It's pretty strange when fucking Elder Scrolls is closer to Hindu than Asura's Wrath.
It is a game Nurudu gameplay and QTE's still makes it a game, and obviously it is special if it has differences from the others
you can't seriously put this next to shit like Her Story
Not next story, but Telltale games are certainly not worse than it. They might not have modern anime aesthetics which majority of /v/ likes to them but that doesn't actually make it better than something like Wolf Among Us.
