Seriously they went from being merchandise with some minor bonus use, to being a paywall to unlock for a single game and only one single game.
The fact that TP HD locks many of its changes and extra content behind amiibos and that Zelda U will use amiibos, makes me fear the monstrosity that will be Zelda U.

I don't believe so, doesn't say special or limited edition bundle anywhere and I don't see just the game without an amiibo up for preorder anywhere else yet either. I think it will be like MP10 and we will have the amiibo bundle for $60 and the game itself for $50.

Preorders on Amazon are out, but I think Nintendo likely just isn't going to print millions of copies as this is just a remaster and not a new game, and obviously we'll see preorders open again.
