The spearfish are the fucking worst. Blight is really good at taking them out, and they are vulnerable to stuns.

Currently I try to handle the situation as jellyfish > bloatedguy > spearfish > shamanfish >= tankfish

Stun fucking everything. They all have insanely low stun resist.

You're gonna want to keep shield fish stunned while you kill everything else, wipe out the priests if you're not gonna be oneshotting most of the other guys. Almost always deal with the thralls before anything else. Jellys have annoying stuns but are super squisy and can be wiped out pretty easily with collateral damage or just one shot. Snails aren't a threat but their debuff lasts forever so if you have some way to kill them really fast I'd advise you use it.

Returning player here, only started playing again a week or so ago again after not touching the game since last May.

Are there whispers of a slight rebuff to the Highwayman on patch day/soon? I mean yeah he was absurd the last time I played once you got good items for him but I think they went too far the other way.

Grave Robber, who used to be completely underwhelming, has pretty much traded places with him. Even Thrown Dagger outperforms Pistol Shot completely

I love how this game pisses off the casuals so much. Corpses are an excellent balancing mechanic for overused/simple teams and heart attacks bring more drama to the whole stress system.

Personally i wish they added a mechanic where if a party member got critted by an enemy while on deaths door it would kill them regardless.

I feel the same, the guy was too cheasy with dmg trinkets and spamming grapeshots all day long but now his damage is horribly lacking. It's not only grapeshot nerf that hit him but an overal inclusion of enemies with prot that fucks him up royally so he does no damage and his weak bleed won't save the day with -dmg and point blank shot, although was maybe in the chese cathegory, was shitted on since you face a high prot frontier most of the time who takes little damage from it. The worst part tho is his pistol shot, its arguably his main skill and it feels like it was dmg nerfed as well, or maybe it's just that prot enemies don't care about at all since its also a -25% dmg modifier. He has some mele utility but it doesn't compensate for his low damage. I think it would be nice if they gave his pistol skill an ability to ignore prot, like point blank shot ignoring half of it or all of it but maybe giving a speed penalty or inability to use it/pistol skills cus it's cooling down or some shit so people won't spam it and a small prot ignore on pistol shot or a -10dmg modifier instead, there is not many ways to get around prot besides dots and HM mark anyway.

Great in the Ruins and Cove, due to those areas having enemies that are vulnerable to blight. Also, her blight is probably the best DoT in the game, as that damage can get stupidly high. Battlefield medicine is good if you need to clear DoT on your own guys, and the stun she has a great backrow stun.

I would have to say that the PD is one of my favorite characters in the game.

The corpse mechanic just makes some classes more useful and requires you to think a lil more about party comp before hand. Honestly I can remember maybe 3 times where corpses were causing me any grief.

As far as the heart attacks, more or less you die instantly if you reach 200 stress. If you're even hitting 100 stress to begin with you're doing something wrong. Haven't had a single heart attack since I started playing.

Also there's a load of class buffs/nerfs making the game more interesting to play imo.

If one of your heroes gets a deathblow in a fight or to a trap you have to quickly alt+f4
depending on whose turn they died on, there's a chance that, when you reload, the hero will be "glitched" out, as in, they won't have a healthbar and won't be able to take action. If it's their turn they will instantly die.
If it's not then you have to hope you can retreat the fight and cancel the quest. You'll fail the quest but the hero will still be alive

This worked a couple of version ago and I haven't played for a few months so I'm not sure if it's still possible
