Its to stop myself savescumming. I'll go back to KBM once I beat the game
You must play a hell of a lot of games in that case.
Yeah, doubtless you're the target audience and don't see anything wrong with F4
I do play a lot of games, but that's got literally nothing to do with my issues with F4. They stripped away all the RPG shit and left us with a fucking modernized first person shooter.
Just the 1 actually, it would appear im quite proficient at erradicating Chimera scum
Yet you chose to gripe about the RDS. Would it have mattered to you if there was a RDS on one of the weapons graphics in FO1 or 2? Its there, you dont have to use it but you can.
>modernized first person shooter.
Show you haven't played it. You are right about the RPG stuff. It's unforgivable, but hopefully the DLC will fix it
>Would it have mattered to you if there was a RDS on one of the weapons graphics in FO1 or 2?
> Its there, you dont have to use it but you can.
Because it's a piece of shit sequel that stripped away everything I liked about the games.
So rather than an RDS possibly adding to the RPG element by lets say, increasing accuracy by 5-10%, you'd rather it not exist at all and DETRACT from the RPG? Sounds like fallout 4 is right up your alley.
>So rather than an RDS possibly adding to the RPG element by lets say, increasing accuracy by 5-10%,
IT's the wrong way to increase the roleplaying element. RDS is only in the game to make it more palatable for retarded CoD kiddies and the like.
And all that after going through 10 minutes of nothing but buttonpushing
Do you own a gun? Have you used a RDS compared to the irons in real life? You legit don't know what you're talking about. It is the correct way to increase your roleplaying element because it's realistic
>It is the correct way to increase your roleplaying element because it's realistic
No it's not. It doesn't affect stats, it doesn't fit into the universe or setting. It doesn't do anything but make idiots who don't like RPGs more comfortable.
>it doesn't fit into the universe or setting
You're splitting hairs. You know what also doesn't fit into the Fallout universe? The G11. But it's there. You know what also doesn't fit in the Fallout universe? A family of immortals that subsist off the blood of their father. But that's there too
>You know what also doesn't fit into the Fallout universe? The G11
>You know what also doesn't fit in the Fallout universe? A family of immortals that subsist off the blood of their father. But that's there too
RDS being in F4 is clearly indicative of pandering towards the lowest common denominator. Stop floundering and deal with it.
Where do you think you are?
Not the guy sperging at you, but responses like his are precisely why I come to /v/ instead of a plethora of other gaming forums.
Not only should you expect that type of response, but I think you should condone it. Reading about people eating shit in a hug box on the daily isn't fun.
Enjoying a game despite glaring flaws, especially those pointed out by critical /v/ autists, a group to which I enthusiastically identify with, is the height of comfy.
But some games like Fallout 4 are just pure shit, and you should feel terrible about yourself. I've never played it.
No, they're not. They're anachronistic with the game setting. You just sabotaged your own argument by ignoring it because it's exactly what you're trying to say
I'm not crying. I knew F4 would be shit from the start, right when it started being clear that Bethesda was dumbing it down.
Hating on something doesn't make you a crying baby. The only one who resembles that image is yourself. For being unable to hear criticism without sperging.
lets be real maybe she's just playing around
>They're anachronistic with the game setting.
Except one is pandering to mindless children who just want to blow shit up, while the other is just a neat gun design being put into a game likely because a dev thinks it's cool. It's not like the RDS is attached only to the gun of a "spec ops commando" type character in the game or something. I could live with it if it was a unique/legendary weapon property. But it's not. It's just something you can strap to any gun.
Youre the only sperg here man. If a Red Dot Sight is enough to make you not buy a game, you're seriously limiting youself. I'd hate to hear of your other miniscule pet peeves.
Technically it's a holosight
>If a Red Dot Sight is enough to make you not buy a game
You're reading comprehension is astoundingly, staggeringly shitty.
Same shit. Holo/RDS. It's a floating dot sight.
>It's just a different way to aim your gun
That is only in F4 because of how popular it is with mindless action game fans. Just another item to add to the list of moronic uneccessary changes away from RPGs and towards 13 year olds.
Of all the things Todd fucked up, someone is complaining about a fucking red dot sight? What exactly is bad or casual or dumbed down with a red dot sight?
Does every game have to be like valve games, with no aiming and recoil after the first bullet?
>This whole argument
Other than COD and Battlefield does they even make FPS games anymore?
>you know holosights were around during ww2, right?
You know that doesn't actually make a difference right? I'm not even upset at supposed anachronisms. I'm mad because RDS has no place in Fallout because all it does is emphasize the shooting and action elements more while simultaneously increasing accessibility for shiteating casuals.
Action game fans wouldn't give a shit if there wasn't an RDS in their game, so yeah, nah, that has nothing to do with anything. You, on the other hand, are a fucking brainless child.
>Action game fans wouldn't give a shit if there wasn't an RDS in their game
Clearly you don't understand shiteating children these days. LOADS of casual would whine that they don't have an easy mode sight like they use in CoD and BF etc.
>so yeah, nah, that has nothing to do with anything.
All you did was make a baseless claim, give zero supporting reasoning, and then claim victory. Are you 12?
>RDS has no place in Fallout
>all it does is emphasize the shooting
>while simultaneously increasing accessibility for shiteating casuals.
There is not a single link between RDS and casuals, this is paranoia anon, seek help.
Not to mention you can simply not use it
>All you did was make a baseless claim, give zero supporting reasoning, and then claim victory.
No, you've been doing that all throughout this thread, even in that very post.
In fact, you seem to know a whole lot about the Call of Duty fanbase. Is it possible you spend a majority of your time playing console rehashes online with other children?
Let me put it like this, from someone who can not get close to anything like this in a DMC game.
All of the people whining about "waaah they don't fight back so casual" don't seem to realize that keeping this shit up for longer than a simple dial combo is autistic as fuck.
In a respectable way, you vicious combo fiends.
Missile Launcher's Quad Barrel with a Gauss Rifle Suppressor, courtesy of this
At this point I don't care, bethesda owns fallout now, I can express my disappointment in the game but what's the point. There are much more people who love what was changed and the stripped out rpg, along with the more focus on combat. They bought the game, so Bethesda will make the next game like it.
Fallout and Bethesda are simply dead to me now.
Isn't that fucking funny, someone on the internet (let alone /v/) got trolled.
The guy didn't even TRY. I mean he said headset when they're headphones. He called it Mario "bros" when its clearly not by the death animation. And then the controller. Use your head, he was just pretending to be retarded.
I wouldn't say awful.
But yeah, they could've been much better. Walking sequecnces feel like they're from 2000-ish flash game
TT are incapable of good animations despite the whole game basically being a pre rendered cutscene
Russian internet, he was lagging all over the place. Look at him just disappear.
That fight webm has some hideous animations. No weight, no recoil, no acceleration, the pilot spazzing out alarmingly. The vomit cam doesn't do a great job of hiding it, and they don't even use a double impact trick when changing angles.
>Ultra wide screen
fucking nice m8
It is, except when you're done with everything and just waiting for the FCS cores to heat up enough so you can finally disengage the shutoff valve. Shit takes up to two minutes depending on how long the rest took you.
Though I guess you could just undock and let the cores warm up then... not sure what would happen actually.
>hit a target that isn't moving with a hitscan sniper
>feeling the need to save this
All skill. Each attack, movement, weapon switch, and style switch is a separate input. And there is a lot of that in that combo, each properly timed. People take DMC seriously.
Am I being baited? It was clearly saved to show that fucker telephoning away with his 3rd world internet.
The funny thing is he was in session complaining about other people, telling them they need to check their connections cause they are lagging.
of course i am being baited
>You do realize Fallout 1 and 2 had tons of modern day weapons and technology, right?
You realize none of that technology had a direct impact on gameplay or was actively pandering to shooter babies. It's not a fucking coincidence that the first Fallout to truly dump the RPG mechanics and dialogue trees in the garbage is also the first to adopt tacticool RDS sights.
They wouldnt get half as many clicks if they showed people who actually know what to do.
What you see in these videos are the worst kids they could find, the biggest retards, the kind of kids who ate sand in kindergarten and who had trouble with getting through elementary school.
>Fuck off Sonygger, the game is fine with KB+M. Idiot.
you having an episode there sport?
>idiot pulls up the crossbow while the bolt is on
>accidentally lets go of the string, sending the crossbow bolt through his foot without nailing him to the ground somehow
>he just jumps away and is perfectly fine
At least the lip synching is better than Life Is Strange
I didn't save any, only made a few out of the videos that were posted
Meleefags, stop being so butthurt. That guy was just making fun of grabspamming FG Falcons
>gets triggered like your average tumblr lobotomite
only making yourself look worse than any consolepleb could
>Where am i supposed to go
This cant be real
Kind of. Iron sights always have 2 part, the rear and the front sight. It's certainly more complicated that 'aim down and hit anything at any range' video game's sight
They get black bars like a movie, makes their image look smaller and everything, If they sat down in front of an ultrawide with very small bezels and a good screen size they would realize what they are missing.
Christ, there are SO many more things wrong with the game. RDS is not one of them at all. I could seriously list hundreds of things worse in FO4 than a basic gun functionality that a million other FPS's have.
>every board STILL doesnt have audio webms
>Implying cops have jurisdiction in the air
Because I like shotguns, I think the one im using there is a "Mighty" shotgun, something like +25% extra damage or something.
you don't reload a panzer faust, they are one use.
Part of me wants to boot up STALKER again considering I haven't played for about a year. And with a good 3000 hours into the three games, The Zone is really calling my name and has been for a long while now.
It's just, I've got a kid now, she takes time. I can be consumed by The Zone completely as I become every time I play STALKER, I need to remember to feed my daughter now and considering I rarely remember to feed myself when playing STALKER, it just doesn't feel like a good idea, and I doubt Vodka and Sausage is a good diet for a girl at barely 2 years.
But I miss The Zone so much.
I'm 30 and played almost every FPS ever.
Not a lot of games have realistic sights thought.
I was into Rising Storm for a while and obviously I understand that distance effects the drop so you need to aim higher, the further away it is.
The only issue I didn't understand completely was if you had to have a general idea of initial distance to dial in your sights.
Like with artillery, you'd fire a round and then use that to zero.
Basically you align until the front sight is in the middle of the rear ring sight. With the garand you adjust the rear sight with knobs for different distant. Like left knob to 2 if target is at 200 yards. Right knob is for wind.
You can see on the ak rear sight instead of knob it's a ruler type
Half the fun is looking for people you know in your autistic circlejerk.
Sights for each rifle vary, but generally the rear sight goes up and down, left and right, to adjust the point of aim.
Unless you have an old military pistol like a makarov, then the rear sight is fixed because if you be shooting past 25 meters comrade is pistoling wrong.
no, you have two in the game. so after he fires the first one, he drops it.
Jesus this shit looks complicated. I might as well take the time and effort it would take to learn how to play this game and put into something useful like flight school or a boating license.
I love how in PR someone just picks you up after you spawn, and transports you back to your unit.
When I started playing back than, I got killed and pilot asked me where I want to go and since I didn't knew coordinates of my squad I just said anywhere. Based guy looked up my team, and quickly delivered me back to them.
Shame I broke my mic and game runs like shit.
So is it as good as it used to be?
I'm wary because they got rid of the classes and turned them into light/medium/heavy, because I liked the variety every class kind of had.
Do i get anything special for having bought gold to get shit?
No nigga you don't understand, the enemies do fight back, the guy pulling off that combo is just absolutely incredible.
You're wondering why some regular martial arts student can't fight back against fucking kenshiro, the enemies aren't bad, that guy is just too good.
>"Finally, I’d like to answer a question that I’ve been getting since the beginning, which is: Why? Why play the game with limited functionality? What’s the point of executing these complicated techniques when a simple A press would accomplish the same thing? Well, the answer is because it’s fun and interesting! Super Mario 64 has been a game that I’ve loved since my childhood, but over time the challenge of collecting the stars became too easy. So what’s left to do in the game after that? Well, invent your own challenges! If collecting the stars is too easy, then why not impose restrictions to make it harder? People have devised several of these challenges, such as: not pressing A, not pressing B, not pressing Z, not pressing any buttons, not pressing the joystick, not opening any cannons, not activating any caps, not collecting any coins, not touching the ground, even not having Mario make a sound. By imposing a restriction, it forces you to think in new and creative ways in order to find workarounds. That star that’s usually so trivial to collect? Now it requires an unintuitive and complex route that would have never been used otherwise. Out of all of the challenges, I find the A button challenge to be the most interesting, in that it has the most potential for creative workarounds. After all, the A button’s primary purpose is to jump. Since the programmers intended for Mario to jump during every mission, this means nearly every star will require some workaround. Furthermore, jumping is such a simple maneuver that many things can function as a substitute depending on the situation, which allows for a great diversity in creative workarounds. Lastly, the desire to save A presses has been beneficial for SM64 as a whole. That’s because in order to save A presses, new glitches have been discovered and certain game mechanics has been understood better, and these findings carry over to other areas of SM64 as well."
I use shadow record so they are saved in 5 minute increments. I go through them later and name them based on the time I want to convert them. Put them into webms for retards and I can see where to put the time begin and end because the file is named them.
>So is it as good as it used to be?
Not that anon but last time I played after the update they still had a few balancing issues.
And if you enjoy playing against rank 50 assholes and stacked teams, you'll have lots of fun.
Its all refunded. Aswell as any exp you spent before. These are from yesterday so this is post update. A lot of people on here think its the best it has been but I feel personally that more was lost then gained from the update. Cancer play styles are greatly rewarded now, I hope you like the saber if you get on.
I thought christo was actually a good unit but I was wrong.
I liked it too.
I played for Borderlands lore, not telltaleThe story and characters were good.
He never scored.
I'm glad he's dead, what an annoying cunt
what is this i didnt even realize they counted how many times they press a button
have they expended all the replayability of speedrunning and now this is what the aspbergers are doing now
It's in lore damnit.
They have this running joke in Hyperion when people shot each other with finger pistols, this is the apex scene of that theme in the game.
>You can always count on accountants outnumbering you!
0/10 not even exciting. Fill your screen with power ups and then we'll talk kid.
This was before the big screen update.
It was the second stage, nigga.
>playing the meme online of GTA V
I don't know how you guys live without modding.
Im the guy that posted the webm you hate so much, not that dude. I dont give a fuck either.
>guy posts a webm that contributes to the thread
>you sperg out about it for some reason and act like a literal child
>are surprise when someone calls you out on being a big babby
The game pretty much devolved into loadouts with lots of explosives and weapon switching
mortars or other high explosives will not one shot lights or mediums
chainwhores are more active than ever
there is still a power gap between lots of level 50 vets and people who are just starting
so yeah, get used to weapon switching to win, maps that are way too huge and if you were a stealth class or sniper.. might as well not play anymore
even if you learn it through save scumming it's hard as fuck to pull off as a whole. and if you think it's pure save scumming that was quilted together for video, go watch a panga level being completed.
Its what a TAS bot does lads. Someone goes through every part of the map as efficiently as possible and then moves onto the next section. Then all of the parts get merged together and the result is an incredibly complex and ultimately impossible feat for a person to pull off.
It is the fact that he flies away at the end that prevents me from being angry at him, is so fucking cool.
I don't recognize celebrities, but I heard on the Radio about Lady Gaga bumping into Leonardo DiCaprio at the Golden Globes when she was accepting one, and that the Golden Globes are the best predictor for who's getting an Academy Award.
So people are making a big deal out of it.
Assuming that's who those two people are.
What that guy said. They pick dumb shits on purpose because there target audience is cynical twenty year olds who like to go on imageboard and complain about how stupid today's youth is.
Watched the entire thing yesterday
I'm completely baffled that there are people who put in this amount of effort just so they can brag about completing a level with 0.5 A press less
Because in the new Battlefront, there's customization.
It works like this.
Rebels: A bunch of faces, and then hair variants. At level 40 and 50, you unlock a couple of aliens.
Empire: A regular trooper, and then the exact same faces and hairstyle. At level 40 and 50, you get the scout and shadow trooper, respectivley.
HOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO?
The game is faster and fun as fuck in my opinion. The new maps, which I believe come from the older tribes, are fun.
However, the game is kinda inbalanced now, with some very cheap load outs, and the capping is a bit weird.
Also if you're new, be preparped to get completely shit on by the more experienced players.
It isn't, really
I mean it's alright for an couple of hours, but then you've seen everything, and all the bad balance and rushed stuff starts becoming more apparent.
And speederbikes are only on ONE MAP, but snowspeeders are on four. It's terrible.
I'm not trying to act too cool, I legit don't recognize them. I've never seen Lady Gaga without her stage costumes, and I haven't seen her at all in like, 5-8 years.
The last time I saw Leonardo was Wolf of Wall Street two years ago, and I"m terrible at recognizing faces.
I could assume that was them based on the radio story, but without that I never would have been able to tell.
