There haven't been any real lightgun games in like 10 years.
They went the way of the CRT.
It takes some hardmodding to even get a Nes zapper to work with a lcd.

Local multiplayer is making a revival.

There are a lot of really great indie local multiplayer games. You never hear about them though because fags on steam buy them not reading that they are local multiplayer only and then give a bad review.

Also, I'm not sure if you near a large city but if you do I would look up local videogame organisations. I live an hour from Toronto and theres one that has meetups where they put local indie games into arcade cabinets and you meet up and play them and once a year they rent out a large venue and everyone just plays a bunch of games together and has a great time. On the downside its full of hipsters, but on the bright side its lacking the obnoxious autists you'd get at a convention.

That massive one on ebay got sold last year. Too bad the guy wouldn't ship it outside its frame so its shipping was ridiculous. I really like the detail of the winged skull on the tombstone in the poster is the same one that's on top of the cemetery gates in the game's intro.
