How much time do you spend on /v/ daily?
I keep a tab open at work so I'll say around 8 hours.
HOW DO I GET FREE HOW THE FUCK DO I GET FREE
>It's all just mainstream, heavily marketed, wider audience, lowest common denominator trash
welcome to the new decade its not just video games its everything and it will only get worse from here.
I came here for mgsv hype in '12 and now I can't leave ;_;
I agree. Within the first ten minutes of browsing someone pretty much knows whether or not they like it here. On that bases we all see pretty much eye to eye and laugh at the same things, and in turn oust anyone who doesn't. Not a lot of places do that.
I don't believe people who say they've been here 5+ years, this place was almost completely different back in 2011. People leave and new ones come in changing board attitudes and culture.
Suppose there's an achievement
Truly a /v/irgin: Spent 24 hours straight on /v/
How many of you have unlocked this and do you have a story to go with it?
AGDQ 2013. Took the week off work, didn't give a fuck. I'm sure I left /v/ on my second screen for quite more than 24 hours. Back then you had to have the plugin or refresh/post manually unlike these fancy schmancy days.
At work and when I get home. I can honestly say its become a problem. Its time wasted on literally nothing. Things would be better if I didnt come here anymore. But I cant stop. Its not even funny, I am getting depressed and teary eyed writing this. Guess Ive never really thought much about it.
This for me too actually. I was sick and couldnt sleep, so I sat on /v/ and watched AGDQ, even the boring runs with no viewers, while posting constantly. I remember my mind getting slightly messed up for a while after this.
That actually is a pretty good question. Hell if I know the answer though. With advent of smartphone and the mobile friendly sites, now you can literally be on /v/ every second of the day.
My schedule is the daily news on several news sites, cracked.com (more like sjw.com), few gaming sites from my country and then its /v/, /tv/ and /int/ while at work, and when I get home
Quick look at CNNs shitty liberal "news"
And the rest of the time is all 4chan.
I mean, what else do people do on the internet nowadays?
Sad to say Ive been here since 07. I was young then of course. This place has certainly changed but its my home. There are still good threads once in a blue moon, or less. And I guess thats why I am here.
I've been here for six years, anon.
i wish i couldn't believe it either
i unlocked it
the story is that i'm pathetic and alone and i have nothing better to do with my time than shitpost on here
this really isn't an achievement more so another mark of failure
actually, i am.
i'm a janitor.
not the 4chan kind but the actual kind.
this one lady keeps throwing her used pads in her office trash can and it's fucking gross.
at least do that shit in the fucking bathroom trash.
>Newfag kill yourself status year
>That was 6 years ago
I don't even know what the standard prerequisites on this board are anymore. 2010-2012 was such a garbage year for /v/ and now it's practically oldfag tier.
I try not to think about stuff like that anymore. The place has changed, everything changes. But I'll always have this gnawing feeling in my mind that everyone else from the old times left somewhere else and left me behind. I never really made any friends here.
I was here(4chan, not /v/) for boxxy in january 2009.
I've never been able to leave.
>mfw this fucker is in prison facing justice
Been here since the start of Japan time.
Also these last three years I have that add on/app turned on ever electronic Device I own to only allow me to browse for an hour a day. This one and YouTube are the only ones on it.
I love you fags but goddamn trust me when I say you can get addicted to this shit real quick.
>get no enjoyment out of vidya anymore
>always been really shy, never had friends
>almost given up on life by this point
>have nothing better to do than browse 4chan
In all honesty I actually prefer today's /v/ and video games in general since 2010-2012 was just THAT BAD, the only bad thing about today is now I have to fight opinions with 2000s kids now.
What was the name of that tripfag who had an anime reaction face with this girl with fangs and a smug smile? This was right after Lancerino Jackerino. It just stuck with me for some reason, and annoyes me extra much.
>tfw been here since jim profit
Way too much.
/v/ is the only place where I socialize. I have no real-life friends, and I feel like I annoy my online "friends" with my terrible conversational skills whenever I end up talking to them.
Stop, everyone knows that all /v/ posters are LITERALLY under 15 years old. Probably under 13 years old, I come on here every now and then to laugh and cringe at what you children post.
Please for the love of god stop kidding yourselves, kids.
I've been here since I was
13.Jesus christ, it's been a long time since 2007
I don't want to sound like a retarded kid, but I've always felt like a special snowflake in comparison to my yuropoor friends and 4chan was the only place to contain my borderline retarded opinions that I had to express
Also I never met IRL anyone who knew what Metal Gear, Final Fantasy or Zelda is, so...
i have been here since 2010
i've been in the brony threads on /b/ until /mlp/ was created
i was a regular in the two worst generals on /vg/
i''ve started thousands of faps by searching for material on /b/ first
>he didn't include the log about eating poop
This. Save the pity for somebody staring through twelve hours of souless daytime television
The times may change but the people are the same in general. Also keep in mind people usually mature as they grow older and the immature nature of 4chan may no longer appeal to some
>hate my job
>dick around /v/ on my phone
>come home and can never decide what to watch/play/do
>dick around on /v/
>dick around on /v/ when I can't sleep
Probably about 18 hours.
