Mario and Luigi Paper Jam, it comes out in 22nd so it technically counts, heard a lot of good shit about it and the gameplay and writing improvements outweight the lazy overworld.

Im trying to push myself to start Fire Emblem with fates but the 3 split paths being seperate games still bother me, i want to stick with nohr despite it being the hardest.

Metroid Prime Federation Force if only because Next Level Games are good devs and i want to keep supporting them, im well aware of the negativity and the timing for this game is absolutely horrible but it's still going to be a good game with their track record.

I think the slight-improvements-each-iteration model is the best anyways. Final Fantasy was my favorite series growing up and it didn't go to shit until they tried changing things.

And you look at each game as a bare bones entity, when changes, regardless of how small, are regarded as changes. So little to no changes is bullshit. MH has come a long way since its birth, and the changes we've seen have drastically altered the ways you can play the game. Call it a clone of itself as much as you want, you just can't see past anything but the bare model, which has seen its fair share of changes.
