I am leaning towards yes, but we haven't played the final combat system or seen it in action in a long time. Haven't quite gotten a look at the final magic system, and how larger city environments and stuff play out.

Cautiously optimistic. I played Episode Duscae 1.0-2.0, but I deleted it because being in Archylte Steppe 2.0 got really boring after a while. I really want this game to be good, but I might cut my wrists if it doesn't.
The framerate was pretty shitty, but obviously I give that the benefit of the doubt when I play demos.

I don't know man. I love jrpgs but I absolutely hate dealing with a goddamn idiotic AI as party members. Also I'm not seeing any tactical aspects in the combat system. As it stands, since both of them apparently come out on the same day, I lean towards getting P5 first.

Nomura and Tabata were both directors since 2012, and Nomura even earlier, and then Nomura only left in late 2014 so he could get started on FF7R, and since then the development side of things was just Tabata overseeing the mass production phase and seeing it through to release, the groundwork and all that was already set before Nomura left.

and was incredibly cool, elegant and fierce, with the rich mafia guy theme more prominent than now (although still exists). I'm not too in love with the younger ones' designs, but the older characters are top fucking notch so far.

XV was never "mutlipart", ever since it became XV it has been one single game, the Versus Epic was trademarked only for XV on possibily of them wanting to do other stuff with the XV world, Nomura literally said back in 2013 that they do not have sequels planned and that XV will be a single game with its own climax, and Tabata has said the same thing last year
When it was Versus it was going to be multiple games but then when they turned it into XV they condensed all those games into one single massive game
The world is still the same, the overall story is still the same, the 20 characters we've seen since day one are all still the same except for one character modified into a slightly different character, the battle system designer, animators, enemy battle designers, VAs, level designers, composer, producer, artists etc are all the same since Versus

BTW, are there going to be extra costumes for the main characters? They said that, iirc, but I'm not too sure.
I hope it's not like Tales of and make the majority of them as something you have to pay. I don't really like the main characters' clothes (except for Ignis'. I'd like Gladio too if he had a shirt on. Noctis' could be cool if they jacket wasn't so long and had full trousers).
Oh, man, can't wait for March. Hopefully they manage to keep my hype up.
