From what I played, Karin, Ken, and maybe Birdie/Laura.

I'll fuck around with most of the cast, but I want to focus on Karin. Might drop her for Ibuki if I like how she plays, and I might drop both for my boy Urien.

He's also a perfect way to learn the game's more "intricate" mechanics. Most people I know used ryu's FADC to Ultra to get the hang of it, as it was simple and easy. Stuff like that.

His skill in V is great to learn the basics of V-skill, then you can graduate to a character that has a bit more complex skill/trigger whatever they're called.
