So who are you gonna main in SF5?
Necalli felt great in Beta 2, and still somehow felt great in Beta 3.
Who /devour/ here?
>he doesn't main Cammy in sfv
we don't know yet senpai but they better update pc as well ;-;
devs wanted to make Nash and Guile like Decapre and Cammy, similar visuals but completely different gameplay
great choice friend, also solid gameplay
On launch, Nash.
After that, dunno. If Guile has really good walkspeed, I'll play him. Otherwise, I'll give Alex, Urien, and Juri a spin.
I just don't want to end up maining some boring as fuck character this time around. 7 years of Balrog is enough to drive you insane.
yes, i'm already preparing my body for it
I'm looking at Birdie and F.A.N.G at the moment, will probably try Urien and Juri once they come out too.
I'm also considering giving Karin a go, really enjoyed her in A3, but rekka being Vtrigger only is a big put-off for me.
If I were to guess it's because it's old and isn't seen as this big landmark game like ST is, and unlike 3s it's not big with hipsters
Maybe it's because all its characters except for the absolute dregs came back for SF4, while a bunch of SF3 characters still haven't shown up since 3s
This thread is extremely lacking in Matsus,
He's my second if Alex turns out shit.
It was gonna be Cammy but I don't like how her rework turned out.
lmaoing @ Dreamworks Rashid and swagger like a black kid F.A.N.G.
I haven't played the game, but Bison looks fun as fuck.
Maybe. The white hair makes me feel like he retired from Final Boss, at least in V.
But I'm sure Cap's holding off on the reveal since they now realize people are sneaky fucks.
I just hope whoever it is he's hard as fuck to beat.
Not even that anon. Ryu is just usually a comfortable, well rounded, balanced character that can be fun to play if that's who you enjoy. Design wise he's simple and iconic. He's vanilla done well.
From what I played, Karin, Ken, and maybe Birdie/Laura.
I'll fuck around with most of the cast, but I want to focus on Karin. Might drop her for Ibuki if I like how she plays, and I might drop both for my boy Urien.
I seriously hope we get a teaser on Launch.
He's also a perfect way to learn the game's more "intricate" mechanics. Most people I know used ryu's FADC to Ultra to get the hang of it, as it was simple and easy. Stuff like that.
His skill in V is great to learn the basics of V-skill, then you can graduate to a character that has a bit more complex skill/trigger whatever they're called.
Vega, Karin. Maybe Ken if they put his fun combos back in.
Maining for now:
Instant main forsaking all others if they ever come out:
I was thinking Ryu. Also I've been playing since SF2:ww and have never mained Ryu in any game
except uh, vanilla SF3so it's actually a huge change of pace for me.
Or maybe Vega if he suddenly starts feeling like ST/CVS2 Vega
Vega isn't good is an honest character in 4 and isn't good in general.
Perhaps if you're talking about ST or CvS2.
He's also honest and very footsies based in V compared to a big chunk of the cast so far except this time he seems to be good.
Chun-Li and Karin
Ryu will be my pick me up in case I get frustrated and start losing matches
Would pick up Ken but seeing how easier he is to combo with I'm sure he'd be very popular and I'd get sick of the mirrors.
No point picking Ken if he's anything like how he is in beta 3. Possibly the worst character in the game.
His parry is pretty shit, only really useful for building v-skill off of fireballs.
If you main a character for any reason other than enjoying their aesthetic or feel then you shouldn't play at all. Playing characters because they're stronger or give you an advantage in a matchup is a disgrace.
actually yes, ps4 got a beta update last night, everybody is expecting the announcement soon, do you live under a rock?
