Compared to the Vita the 3DS is laughable.
The only good 3DS games are Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus and SMTIV. Everything else disappointed me. Really was expecting more after so many good games I played on the DS.

What is it that makes /v/ go so fullretarded if it comes to handhelds? As soon as a great game comes out that is sub 180p / 60fps or has shit graphics people WILL shitpost about it. Yet the majority of /v/ screams "F-FUCK YOU, THE 3DS IS TH EBEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN, OUR GAMES SHOULD STAY 3DS ONLY", which makes no sense if you think about it rationally. ALL games will be downgraded to hell and back to run on that piece of shit. Just look at Monster Hunter. I wouldnt go that far. The 3DS is still a bit better in that regard, but the Vitas library isnt nearly as bad as /v/ is making it out to be. But the games that are good are usually far better and feel more like full fledged games than most stuff on 3DS.

I had a PSP-2000, do you have any idea how many games came out after? It had 3 more fucking entire releases, 3000, 4000 and Go, and it was hackable since PSP-1000.

Honestly if you can get one CFW'd it's still the best HANDS DOWN handheld for emulation.

If you're fond of emulated/old school games and do any traveling I'd say that a CFW'd PSP-1000/2000 on 5.5 or earlier is basically a requirement. An MS-DS is too since you can buy 2x 64GB microSDHC for super cheap to power it.

PSP hacks were released initially June '05, with them growing in popularity in '06 heavily. Things went full swing in '07 shortly after PSP-2000's release.

I was wrong and there was also the PSP-E1000 not PSP-4000 so same deal for 3 released after hacking was in full swing, 4 since it was actually started.
