Loader: anyone remotely competent can break loader. Once you have a Wicked Ring, 14 Specs and some syringes the game is over. Until then if you have 4+ goat hooves and any amount of competence you can run back and forth putting down pylons to safely kill everything. Loader is versatile, with powerful melee and range. He becomes literally unstoppable with a fair number of whites and just one red. Far and away the most broken character

Engi: once you have enough hooves to outrun worms and yellow vagrants you can just hide and shoot rockets. Easier than Loader to do well with, but actually requires some amount of competence to ascend beyond the realm of mortals (unlike loader)

Bandit: because of bandit's invincibility ability, he can snag crates early more easily. He can simultaneously shoot fast and do sick high damage extremely well. In this way, he combines the better traits of sniper and huntress without having their crippling weaknesses.

Mercenary: spin2win

>good tier
Sniper: crippling weakness: lots of enemies in a tight space. Skill: huge damage on a single target. Get hooves to run away. Get crowbars to kill shit

Huntress: crippling weakness: 9hp, no invincibility. Skill: run away and shoot at the same time

Chef: crippling weakness: slow as fuck, no invincibility. Skill: tons of damage to groups of enemies. Lol at worms. Get hooves asap. get syringes

This would vary wildly depending on what artifacts you like to play with, but here's my list for the usual /v/ setup:

Mercenary, i-frames out the ass, short cooldowns on all skills, good damage
Bandit because if you're smart you can be invisible and invincible all the time, even more ridiculous with the speed bug
Chef because best damage dealer

>EASY TIER
Engineer you're a faggot if you play him all the time, only good excuse is lag

>GOOD TIER
Commando
Loader
Sniper because he can melt bosses but is vulnerable while charging the shot, only needs a few crowbars to kill anything in one shot but his dodge has a long cooldown
Miner because three of his skills can get you out of trouble and he has good damage but his cooldowns are a bit long

>meh tier
Acrid and Huntress, they're not bad or hard to play but they're not that good either

>low tier
Han-D because no dodge, slow attacks and his healing isn't that useful but good damage and the drones are good for stunning or finishing enemies. I love playing him anyway but it's not easy

>rock-bottom tier
Enforcer because no dodge, his shield will more likely kill you than save you and he's not that good at killing

underpowered tier:
Acrid: no invincibility skills and his only go fast skill has like 15 seconds of cooldown. He's supposed to be melee but he's shit at it. He can still be good if you stack syringes and hooves, but so can basically any character

Miner: his skills are all really good for a melee character, stun, dash, jump. However, they all take years to cool down. You can easily be stuck with no abilities off cooldown, at which point you will be killed by worms or vagrants or funballs.

XCom: there is literally nothing impressive about this character. He lacks the crippling weaknesses of miner and AIDS doggy, but he also lacks their strengths too. He can run around and spread AIDS everywhere and he can't stack dots. He also doesn't have 3 sick skills. He just does nothing special. He can still do well if you get tons of syringes and, of course, hooves. Roll like sanic with 20 hooves.

bad tier:
Han D: A worse verson of miner, hanD hits slow but strong. However, he has NO invincibility and moves slow as fuck. He can't get out of danger and his drones aren't good enough to make up for the fact that he WILL die if he closes to melee range. How do you make this character good? Hooves, syringes, I dunno. If you get 6 rapid mitosis and a shield generator you can be invincible forever, I guess. But that goes for every character.
