I warmed up to 3 recently, but I still don't get the fervor some have toward it. It's a distinct flavor of third-person shooting, but your options are ever so limited, and the game wildly goes from flopping on the ground and killing 30 people, to seemingly relying on last chance mechanic to smooth out exposed and surrounded scenarios.

As I've said, it seems to smooth out the gameplay, and I don't see a whole lot of tools to deal with particular scenarios. Your moveset isn't nearly as powerful as in previous games, and the environment doesn't always give you space to leverage what moves you do have.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Arsenal is cut down, roll doesn't have iframes and mad AI manipulation, bullet time is shorter and doesn't have 2's buffs, further hindered by euphoria animations.
