>ITT: Pinpoint the moment a series went to the trash (be it the game itself, or something from the game)
Because shit-tier hitboxes and three moves per weapon type were awesome, amirite?
If you think Monster Hunter went to the trash with Tri, you always though Monster Hunter was trash, you just pretended otherwise because you wanted to be cool.
best monster designs
loc lac best online lobby
best overall music with lacking specific monster themes except for jho and alatreon
mhp3rd introduced garbage like zinogre the doge with spikes (fun to fight however with a bitching theme)
Was worth your reply, thanks.
Yes, but it's the mentality that it's inclusion on the Wii was the 'downfall' of the franchise simply because the series was making a transition to non-Sony platforms.
When did i say it was garbage because it was on wii you fucking retard?
>most monsters are entirely new
>entirely new areas and soundtrack
>great online for what it was
>best graphics in the series (just a plus)
>brute wyverns are exciting to fight
Fuck yourself in the ass, OP.
So you never played them, cool.
>subspecies are bad
Also the monsters were also new when MH1 and 2 came out the first time, just because they created new ones for Tri doesn't mean they're automatically good.
With a few exceptions.
Yes, just like tri.
>Tri brought a bunch of weeaboo casuals
I can't even fathom how an axe draws in "weeaboos", especially considering Longsword has been in the series since the first fucking game.
>like 25 or so monsters
>half of them are reskins
>hitboxes that make even FU seem polished
>greatsword doesn't even have a fucking charge attack
but its a superior game, right
>they only had slightly faster swings
Which was fucking relevant as you are hunting. And it didn't change the fact that they were still giant fucking katanas, even in the first fucking game. They even had a unique setup for Freedom/Unite. Tri didn't change much beyond making them better, as it did for every weapon in the game.
The way I can tell retards like YOU didn't play the first two games is because you think functionality is what actual weeaboos care about, and not the fact that they were wielding 11-foot katanas.
>>like 25 or so monsters
How's this bad?
>>half of them are reskins
The only reskins are the preys and the dromes except the cephalos
>>hitboxes that make even FU seem polished
Never had a problem with hitboxes, you never played the game and you're just parroting shit you read here
>>greatsword doesn't even have a fucking charge attack
Your only point.
You're a fucking retard.
I'm not saying the first games were perfect, they had retarded stuff, but with posterior entries of the game it got even more retarded.
Yes, they managed to put in retarded stuff in a game about hunting dragons and wyverns.
off by one OP
the difference between Tri and P3rd is simple. In Tri you can actually die in low rank.
What is "retarded" stuff? The first game introduced 12-foot masses of bone, tooth, and metal used to kill wyverns, and eventually even motherfuckers like Lao and Fatalis, alongside bed-sized cannons, but we could still also use knives to kill things. Are you mad that Switch Axe had a charging system?
>have to deliver 3 eggs
>surrounded by genpreys, cephalos and heat
This is where the fun stops
If you're going to get so defensive, maybe it would have been wise to have articulated your thoughts from the start and not just leave your OP relatively empty and give people all the leeway in the world to speculate on why you disliked Tri.
Broke 2 eggs and took 30min, but done.
>>323798790 rath varients exist, as well as the fatalisis. You are wrong, the old games were unrefined. They had some charm, and the newer games might have lost that, I agree. But they were inferior in most areas.
I might be wrong, but i think the first game didn't have armors with that skill.
>Because shit-tier hitboxes
the only thing bad about the game was the water and they took it off on the 4th
That post was referencing the amazing hit suggestions of yore, not the ones from Tri onward.
