Most Unnecessary Sequel of 2015

HM2 feels like it was made because the devs felt it was like an obligation to make it to appease their fans after the huge success of the first game.

It's a good game but not even close to the first.

Fallout was dark as shit. Fallout 2 had to lighten the tone, but it was still plenty dark. It knew when to switch tone and was good at it.

Fallout 1 is better than Fallout 2 narrative wise no doubt, but Fallout 2 is no slouch. It has so much more to do and all of the content is really well done for the most part.

From a pure gameplay perspective, Hotline Miami 2 was a fantastic sequel. It upped the difficulty a ton (git gud casuals, no Karma achievement) as well as offering different types of gameplay with varied characters.

From a story perspective, however, it's all fucked and stupid. There's so many plot lines going on and in the end, none of them fucking matter. It's just a waste of time.

I only just recently picked it up.
Will this editor be available for consoles? I got it on Vita.

It was an okay game, I am just a casual that plays anything and not a giant fan. I enjoyed the story of HM1, where as HM2 it was okay at points but overall i really missed those edgy phone calls with the hit details, playing as multiple characters sort of ruined it for me. The gameplay was alright, but too many guns, an option for melee only would have been fun. The hard mode was also bullshit with them just reversing the map, literally felt like a chore doing everything again with little difference.

I agree with this. In HM 2 you're forced to use different masks for various levels and have to switch up your strategies a bit while in HM I just played Tony in every level because he was superior to the rest, except when forced to play biker in the final level.

But yeah HM2 had a shit story, it was so meaningless and forgettable that I barely remember anything from it. The final drug sequence was pretty cool though tbqh
