This I like, some call it easy mode, but money in this game is never really a problem except right at the start. But right at the start is also where the game sucks the hardest imho because it takes so long to get going, therefore I like to have extra cash right from the get go

You take 450% more damage. Let that sink in. I mainly play ranged classes when I start fresh at lvl1 hardmode because let's be honest, you cant enjoy playing melee at level 1 on hardmode. Shit's ridiculous. This is actually a weird one, on one hand it's more fun to play less leeroy jenkins, on the other hand it can be getting annoying to play like a wuss all fight long, just to get hit and die after you already fought for 8 minutes (looking at you Ogres in the quarry) which leads to the next point

they are not smarter in hardmode, nor do they employ more tactics. they simply take a lot more punishment before going down. This is also taken literally: it will be much harder to stagger enemies on hardmode.

Personally once I started in hardmode, I can't go back. I just enjoy becoming a demi god in RPGs and hardmode allows for this faster with loads of gold drops and 2x EXP.

If it's too tough with certain encounters you can always dial back to normal mode, without losign progress. If you want to ramp up the difficulty again however, you need to restart the game from the beginning (keeping your items and levels though)

The increased stagger thresholds mess up combat by punishing vocations like warrior and fighter who need to stagger more than vocs like ranger and assassin.

The increased stamina usage means you're not able to use abilities, the thing which makes combat interesting, as often. It makes things tedious.

Actually it does have merrits. The issue with a controller is that you need to hold a bumper/trigger to use alternate skills, instead of just pressing and you need to click in the analogue stick to activate Dashing, which is uncomfortable.
Not to mention Mouse enabled menus and aiming.

Really, KBM for DD has a single issue, you can't slow walk, like at all.

It was a rather common resolution for low-end laptops years ago when 16:10 was the standard, also it was used in 17-19" 16:10 low-end TN screens. Those and 5:4 1280x1024 screens were wildly used in cybercafes and for low end pc gamers. 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 screen were really expensive for your normal pc gamer and also it was really hard to run games like crysis or AC 1 at those resolutions when the best you could get under 300$ was the 8800gt or the 3870

The most similar resolutions these days is 1360x768 since it's used also in most low-end laptops and in 18.5" shitty tn lcd's. But thank god 1920x1080 became the standard and the bare minimum for pc gamers.

But it doesn't matter, once you hit 4k you have shitloads of vertical space so the aspect ratio matter less. imo
