>>323744868 Pretty big after the xbox gold black friday and holiday sales... Pretty much picked up everything that was on sale really cheap which I had interest in or that I had friends playing on multiplayer, so between my xbone and 360 backlog now, it is pretty fucking big.
>>323744868 Counting all books, movies, and video games I'd eventually like to read, watch, and play it's too big to even consider. Better to just do what you'll enjoy in the moment and at least see what you're currently doing thru to it's end. Also why the fuck do OPs on /v/ always seem to have terrible grammar? Did some third world country just discover video games?
>get bloodborne in december with PS4 >get Destiny about two weeks later >pick up Darkest Dungeon during steam sale >just ordered Xenoblade X and Mario Maker >about to preorder Dragon's Dogma >not even done with BB, just got to Ludwig
wew lad, i think i have a problem. i think it stems from having to wait until a birthday/christmas to get games as a kid. now i feel the urge to buy them immediately
Rainbow Six 3 MGSV Fallout 4 FNV Honest Hearts To The Moon KOTOR KOTOR 2 Skyrim Dawnguard & Dragonborn Vampire The Masquerade:Bloodlines Mad Max Lords of The Fallen Divinity Dragon Commander Enslaved Odyssey To The West Dust: An Elysian Tale Dragon Age Inquisition Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 DLC Ghost Recon Future Soldier Raven Strike
200+ completely unplayed games on Steam, but that includes a lot of shit I picked up in a bundle that I know I'll never care enough to play. I like Tropico, but I'm not gonna go back to the first one. And a lot of the other stuff is completely dumb impulse buy shit. And there's also a handful of playstation games that have built up, but I can only JRPG binge for too long before I quit them altogether for a few years.
It's not like I keep a list of shit I really want to get to. Anything I really care about I give time to. My "backlog" is really a bunch of shit that might be neat but I haven't gotten around to yet.
You're dumb. There's only so many hours in the day. Keeping track of the things you might like but haven't found time for doesn't magically make you stop liking those things, and it sure as shit doesn't turn them into a chore.
>Backlog How can I call it a backlog when I played all my games. I only have like 1 to finish the story and that's NFS: HP. I'm currently restarting Dying Light in hard mode. Why the fuck are Hunters OP when you're a human? 1 v 1 is unbalanced shit.
>>323744868 >buy a bunch of single player games >get halfway through while thoroughly enjoying myself >take a break >never touch it again It keeps happening... I'm afraid to start new games because I worry the same thing will happen and I'll just add another half finished game to the list. meanwhile, I have 300 hours in rocket league...
I make a promise to never buy any games until the Winter sale. That way I have all year to finish all of my games before the next winter sale. I just don't pay attention to humble bundle or all of the bundle tracking sites.
>friend's mom bought him MGSV, Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, Evolve, DMC4 and DmC special editions, Battlefield Hardline, Battlefront, Dark Souls 2 Scholar, Halo 5, GTAV and Just Cause 3 >hasn't started any of them >decides to buy himself a PS3 because he really wanted to play Kingdom Hearts
GAMECUBE Fire Emblem 9 Metroid Prime 1 & 2 Skies of Arcadia Twilight Princess
WII Xenoblade Chronicles
NINTENDO DS Dragon Quest 4-5-6-9 Etrian Odyssey Front Mission Mario and Luigi Partners in Time
PC Arcanum Gabriel Knights Dark Souls Deux Ex Dragon's Dogma Fallout 1 & 2 F.E.A.R. Grim Fandango Monkey Island 1 & 2 No One Lives Forever 1 & 2 Portal I & II Rayman Legends & Origin Valkyria Chronicle XCOM Enemy Within Ys I & II & Oath of Felgana What should I add?
Could use more frequent music, and the level design should be somewhat more linear (or if not linear, at least having something pointing in the way you need to go).
The huge open levels made it easy to get lost and wander around for ages, but that was also what made the game what it is, since you could explore shit and find items, and buildings were built like real buildings.
nah. It means I have a job , but no friends. No friends means no money going toward time being spent with friends or birthday/Christmas gifts. All that 'extra' money goes toward whatever game I can get for 50-90 percent off. I don't ever play the games because I'm too busy with work, school, chores, errands and by the time I have free time I'm either exhausted or want to do something outside the house.
>>323744868 I try to keep it manageable so that I don't spend money on games I won't play. That being said, replay value will probably be a higher priority than backlog tier 2, so they may not happen in the foreseeable future
I've realized there's no hope to ever defeat the backlog. Games come out faster than you can beat them and still have a normal life. The only winning move is to accept that. And to start give more value to the time you spend on this gay earth. I stopped using steam, limited my siliconera and 4chan access and dont plan on buying another console. I still come here but I usually go into 1-2 threads a day and then leave. This limits the info I get on new releases so there's no chance of me adding stuff to the backlog. I'll be a free mun soon
>>323746362 This. Have F4, Bloodborne, Journey, Beyond: Two Souls, Undertale, BlackOps3, Fifa16, Uncharted collection and many more, but all I play whole day is Rocket League. Logged in it 692 hours, while I maybe logged 40 all together in all others.
Current backlog and working on: -Dead Rising 3 -GTAV -Witcher 2 -Just Cause 3 -Bioshock Infinite DLC -AC III -AC Unity
Started, but not finished. Will eventually get to: -Uncharted Collection -Dragon Age: Inquisition -Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag -Final Fantasy Type-0 -Dark Souls -Ratchet and Clank 3 -Disgaea D2 -Zone of the Enders 2 -Persona 4 Arena: Ultimax: -Kingdom Hearts 1.5 -Kingdom Hearts 2.5 -Zelda: Skyward Sword -Far Cry 3 -Steins;Gate -Xenoblade Chronicles X
>>323753526 Take it out. There's always going to be more games. Nintendo might only have 700 of them but if it's really good? I'll find it again eventually. Just delete the game I didn't like this time around.
>>323744868 This is only a fraction. I want to play them all but I know I never will as I keep adding more. 1.) Front Mission 5 2.) Final Fantasy 13: Lightning Returns 3.) Suikoden 2 4.) Blood Dragon Witcher 3 Rogue Legacy Guacamelee Broken Age Undertale TWD season 2 Grim Fandango Counter Spy Apotheon Dragon Age Origins Beyond good and evil god of war ascension
A lot of ps plus games and witcher 3 which I have not touched since I bought it on black friday. I was beating Bloodborne instead and now moved on to re4 and blood dragon since I am on break and dont want to bring the ps3 with me back to uni.
>>323746082 >KOTOR >KOTOR 2 Man, you're gonna have so much fun. I loved both, especially KOTOR 2 and its depth. There is so much conversation about the light side and dark side and how each side views both of those things. It's so awesome, you get lost in it.
>>323753763 play Golden Sun 1. The beginning is slow, so kinda put on a tv show while you plow through the meaningless dialogue. The real meat of the game is in the battles and dungeon puzzles. I haven't played a game harder than that.
More like the SMT series and a whole bunch of Final Fantasy that I'll probably play sequentially until my interest drops off.
>>323753526 Probably sounds autistic but I make a note of the mood or mentality I need to have to enjoy it, and keep it at the top. I usually juggle a handful of games at once - something patient, something fast and skill-centric, and something casual - so I have vidya that suits me in a handful of moods
Smt4,persona3,4,ninokuni,gta3,liberty city autores,dq4,fallout4,batman Abraham knight, sleeping dogs, majoras mask, pokemon pera but ps2 games were digital and need new playstation3. Ace attorney trilogy and dual destiny
>>323744868 I don't have a backlog. I'm currently playing all the games that I want to play right now.
Sometimes, I let a game sit on the backburner for a bit as I play others. For example, Aurora and Victoria 2 are sitting at the moment, while I focus on Dwarf Fortress and Star Wars space sims - but I know I'll come back to them.
I usually give a game a good try when buying it, and I don't count games that I don't want to play as being on my backlog (e.g. Dustforce - bought it, played about 30 min, but got bored, so never again).
Mine is quite big, I have nearly 300 games on steam, about 100 of them I actually want to play, some rts games take 100+ hours. Loads of ps3 games I still want to play and a few ps4 games. But new games keep coming out. Been playing all the God of war games this ladt week, im on acention now, once ive done that its dying light untill resident evil origins collection
