Difference is a stretch, for the original DS games 2 was a lot more polished and had more varied builds (in the original game holy dance spam was pretty much the only thing that mattered, while 2 actually let physical builds be worthwhile)

It was a love hate situation for me. I invest so many hours in to the original Devil Survivors without voice actors. I already had voices for each character in my head. In comes Spike Spencer as the cunt destroyer.
All of them eventually grew on me. Except for Midori.

Have someone rolling Affection in the top, btw. I can't remember if Alioth has any Elemental Weaknesses but if he does then get demons that can handle that. What's the average level around there, I can't remember?

I know once you hit the 40s you can get a Reflect All Purple Mirror and a Null All Titania which makes the game hilarious.

Lailah is fairly strong if you can get her Force Dance.

All of these are good options.

Basically get resistances to Elec and maybe even Anti-Ailments, and magic creatures with Force Dance. If your MC is Magic-based then you should give him Force Dance too.
