Describe your ideal game based in the Mickey Mouse universe.
I would like to see all sorts of villains
>The Mad Doctor
>Magica De Spell
>HD remake of the Duck Tales game
This already exists.
>Scrooge's voice actor is turning 97 this year
I sincerely hope Alan lives to 100 like Scrooge did.
Yeah it was. It was a good closing chapter on the series, and its a shame we never got an english release back in the SNES days.
For those not in the know:
One thing that was kinda cool about 3 was that Donald and Mickey had alternate abilities which could compliment each other, allowing for great co-op if you had a competent partner.
Early example: Mickey's knight armor would sink in water, but donald's knight "armor" was a fucking barrel which would float in water and mickey could ride on top of it.
Even the attacks could be different. Again, relating to the knight costume, mickey had a lance which could attack in directions, but donald had a hammer which swung in an arc.
MQ2/GCM is okay, but it lacks the same punch as the first and third. It does a few interesting things though, and while the cowboy costume takes getting used to, it's pretty cool to mess around with, and the tackle is pretty strong.
>tfw we will never know alan's last VA role
WE ALREADY DID THAT AND IT SUCKED SHIT
I just came to realize something:
Why aren't there any Donald Duck games? I remember reading so many Donald Duck stories as a child, and especially those where Donald, Scrooge and the Nephews went on adventures were amazing.
They went fucking everywhere.
Why aren't there any Uncharted/Tomb Raider style games, where you travel to amazing world locations in search for PROFIT?
DISNEY GAME GROOVES, GO
Quite clearly none of the games there match my description.
Also it's 2016
Played that one in particular. Not quite what I'm looking for, it's a platformer.
I'm saying it has potential for major
Fucking retarded americans. It is the superior 'verse.
A Rayman Legends/Origins-like plataformer with the artstyle from the new Mickey shorts. Yes, that means using the Ubi Art Framework and yes local co-op.
>Also it's 2016
What in fuck does that have to do with a god damned thing.
If you can't play old games simply because they're not new I think it's time for you to reconsider your life. Reconsider it off a fucking bridge.
There's only correct answer. And it was the first OTT. Good.
For all we know, he could be already dead, and his family just hasn't announced the death yet.
Close second would be an open world Darkwing Duck game.
Actually, there is not so many games specifically starring Donald as main character.
Maui Mallard(should we even count this, considering he's actually NOT Donald?)
Lucky Dime Caper
Deep Duck Trouble
And maybe we can count World of Illusion, even if it features a Donald Duck of the old guard, not the one living in Duckburg going on adventures and stuff with Scrooge).
And still, none of this fit with the description that anon made.
Who's got the sweetest disposition?
One guess -- guess who!
Who never never starts an argument? (Woman: Hmmmm?)
Who never shows a bit of temperament?
Who's never wrong but always right? (Donald: Yeah?)
Who'd never dream of starting a fight? (Donald: That so?!)
Who gets stuck with all the bad luck?
No one... (Donald quacks angrily) but Donald Duck! (Donald: Yeah!)
>Pluto's implied cat-killing hobby
Ah hell, I just remembered a bunch of his enemies.
And then there were those SPECTRE-like guys, like Steelbeak and Ammonia Pine, all the one-shots like that Pterodactyl guy who turned Darkwing into a dinosaur, Lucifer, and the really weird shit like that possessed jack-in-the-box.
A modern Darkwing game could out-Batman Batman.
Modern day micky universe
but play as peacock.
Here's an idea: a mashup between Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker and Triforce Heroes with Huey / Dewey / Louie.
Scrooge loses all his money, so they gotta get it back for him. Also, Scrooge gets kidnapped, too, I guess.
Magical Quest 4 with a playable Goofy.
Or some freak dream team game where former World of Illusion and Magical Quest developers get together to make something that brings the best of both worlds
Yeah i know, i wasn't referring as his name change(actually, the US version just omitting him being Donald with a differen tidentity), rather as him being a completely different character in terms of characterization, the same way Donald/Paperinik and Donald/PK(from PKNA) aren't the same characters, the original being the same coward, dolt, unfortunate duck, and PK being an alternate universe Donald, a more serious, brave superhero ala avengers capable of defeating extraterrertial enemies posing serious treats.
I'm so happy these exist. It feels like they haven't done anything with Mickey in awhile. And while these aren't quite up to the level I'd hope for they're still amazing. I want to see a new 2D Mickey movie though.
