THE ONLY CHANCE TO REDEEM THE FRANCHISE AND THEY SHOOT THEMSELVES ON THE FOOT AGAIN
The series died with AC4. AC2 and AC4 are two of my all time favorite games, Brotherhood was very very good, AC1 is great but completely unique for the franchise, AC3 I actually quite enjoyed, and I despised Revelations. Haven't played anything since Black Flag, but Rogue looks very good.
I used to defend the modern day storyline quite a bit, but looking back it kind of ruined the storyline. The need for more modern day material necessitated the creation of Revelations, which provided absolutely nothing to the historical stories. An anthology series of characters throughout history, tied together only by a common affiliation to a timeless organization, would've been much better.
Combat changes a bit from game to game and they have good additions, like wilderness and trees in AC III, ships and ship combat in AC IV .
I dunno, people give these series shit, but it's a game with a lot of money put into the historical locaitons at least, even though the writting is shit
HOLY SHIT, will they have designated shitting streets? They better be historically accurate about it. I bet a form of assassination will be drowning your victims in the shit and dead body infested Ganges.
POO IN LOO YOU FUCKS
Basically, Abstergo retrieved Desmond's body to explore his memories and started doing propaganda through videogames.
Juno, the chick that wants Desmond to sacrifice himself to save the world is released and uses Sages, descendants of her former lover, to carry her will and finally be brought back to rule humans. Abstergo uses these sages because they have a very old DNA.
The assassins and other hackers try to steal data from Abstergo.
Geez, and I thought these games were already "brown and bloom" enough
