Dude lets take like the souls game and make it fast instead!!
Wait wouldn't the fans hate that since all our games are slow based action?
Nah man also lets make it about hunting beasts but put aliens in it too lmao
Holy shit that's a 10/10 idea kowishakmalnembatuseksi San!!
this. OP is a faggot.
DeS was my first Souls game so I never developed the habit of hiding behind shields like people that started with DaS1/2 did.
>My framerate's face when I use Kos Parasite L2 in a room full of enemies
>"Other souls games don't have stable framerates either"
>"Wow why are you bringing up DS2 that game was shit"
Jesus, dude, calm down. Would a trigger warning have helped, or something?
>10/10 idea kowishakmalnembatuseksi San!!
You can pinpoint the exact moment OP had a stroke.
>Wait wouldn't the fans hate that
Fuck the fans, they're getting DaS3. I love both. BB spiced things up a little, it was refreshing, now we can go back to the slow and steady hand of Dark Souls when 3 comes out.
>Bloodborne would be the best Souls game if it ran at a stable frame rate
>Are you implying any other Souls game runs on stable framerate?
>best Souls game
>can't follow the discussion
>accuse someone of being unable to follow discussion
Let me guess, DS2 fans?
>Are you implying any other Souls game runs on a stable framerate?
>Dark Souls 2, which is another Souls game, does indeed run on a stable framerate.
>We are only talking about the Best Souls Game
Can you ease off the throttle a bit? It's too early in the morning for me to process this shitposting correctly.
Maybe it's too fast?
Pic related. A proud card carrying member of the PC Master Race complaining about Central Yharnam being too hard.
That's like 5 minutes into the game.
You are allowed to think Bloodborne is boring, I personally wholeheartedly disagree but if you don't like it then you don't like it. But if you think DaS2 is any less boring than Bloodborne then you are an utter retard and you ought to do society a big favor and fucking kill yourself tonight.
Nothing about the Souls games necessitates a slow pace. They're characterized by a necessity to manage stamina and commit to attacks with start ups and cool downs. You can do all that and retain a fast pace.
>save checkpoints before bosses
Not always, and most notably not in the Copy Man stages of MM3.
>losing healing items after use
E-Tanks worked this way in MM except you also can't buy them until MM7, I think.
Bloodborne is hard but MM can be pretty bullshit. I love MM though.
Bloodborne is a masterpiece, and i love playing defensively with a shield in Souls.
But the setting, the combat, the weapons, the bosses... it remains the best exclusive of this gen so far.
Bloodborne is the example of how to change a franchise and NOT FUCK UP.
Maybe Nintendo should learn from Bloodborne next time they are doing a crossover game.
>So we have a medieval fantasy tactical JRPG Fire Emblem and a demon catching dungeon exploring JRPG Shin Megami Tensei, two loved franchises... what we should do?
>DUDE WEED LMAO FOLLOW ME ON THIS
>HOW ABOUT HOW HOW ABOUT AN IDOL SINGING RPG WHERE OUR CHARACTERS KIIIINDA LOOK LIKE FE & SMT, ALSO THEY CAN SING MAIN THEMES FROM BOTH FRANCHISES BUT IN AN K-POP GARBAGE KIND OF WAY, EVERYONE LOVES THAT!
>ALSO THE WHOLE GAME SHOULD BE ABOUT ARTISTS DANCERS AND SINGERS
kek the easiest place in the game.
>run fast to the bridge into the first boss so you can level up.
>the first boss is easy just jump around like a gigantic faggot.
>dodge his attacks because he is slow.
>shoot him the head when he tries to heal
How is this hard?
The second boss is somewhat the same faggotry easiness when you just grind to level up your hp and stamina.
After that its time to get serious with the build.
>Bloodborne is panned for removing a significant amount of stat depth and build diversity
>yet if it had removed ALL stats and build diversity it would loop around and be acceptable since it wouldn't be a JRPG anymore
Methodical and deterministic character action game from FromSoft when?
Fume Ultra Greatsword is even bigger and it's loads of fun once you master block canceling and lingering deflection frames.
Hard to master, but a monster that makes small weapons impotent.
The Greatsword in the DaS3 beta was fucking amazing.
>that feel when Dark Souls fags have pretty good taste but still have the worst taste in the series
>that feel when Dark Souls fags think Dark Souls combat is good
Bloodborne just took all the things that Dark did wrong and fixed it, its almost objectively better.
Man id love to see these scrubs play Ninja Gaiden Black. Some save points are a fucks way from the boss room and its actually a hard game unlike BB which is a moderate challenge at best.
>Slow , clunky , fake "methodical" play when all you do is bait slow telegraphed moves that are only scary when they have stupid shockwaves.
>BloodBorne combat boss wise
>Fast arena leaping bosses with fast ass attacks and a completely fluid type of mobility and dash to dodge said attacks.
The only time combat is similar is because alot of normal enemies are still slow as dirt like Souls enemies. Anyone who enjoys Souls games for their combat baffles me. It feels like you're playing a harder Super Mario game most of the time when it comes to bosses. You just wait until that one move where you can get a good safe punish and repeat.
Of course im excluding bosses like Fume Knight that were actually hard.
>love Dark Souls slow combat
>game has a mellow atmosphere, more subtle and less grim than DeS
>always something to stop and look around at in the environment
>game is incredibly relaxing, can play it forever
>Less varied envrionments
It's just not the same.
>You just wait until that one move where you can get a good safe punish and repeat.
Dark Souls has the least standing around and waiting of any of the Souls games, the combat is actually very active.
You'll be happy to know they're taking the Bloodborne approach with bosses and serious enemies.
Red Eye Knights are back, and they're scary as shit.
>less grim than DeS
What? You can actually save the world in Demon's Souls, for one, and the fog only erodes Boletaria.
Bloodborne isn't the same game. Approach it with a different attitude. Revel in blood and beasthood, ripping and tearing.
Anyone else woiuld like a BB in a pirate-theme worlds
Yeah it makes no sense with BramStoker-style bloodlust and the blood system
But on another hand I feel that the gun and melee style combat would well with it and discovery spooky places
And the squidish enemies can carry over with shit like fishmen, kraken and davey jones
>mfw pcucks are so salty they spend their time baiting on /v/ instead of playing PC games
Wait a second...
lol, my bad
>pirate-theme Souls game
B-Team got you covered, breh.
>mfw pirates and dwarves are now canon
I like fast paced, I just wish there was a way to dodge cancel out of attacks or something so that when the game arbitrarily decides an enemy isn't going to be staggered by your attack today or now they have hyper armor you're not guaranteed to eat a hit.
Dark Souls babbies are really vocal and its so easy to know they started at Dark Souls.
Fact. Demons Souls is fast. With the exception of the dodges, the attack speeds are as fast as Bloodborne's.
Now, Dark Souls 3 is taking a hint and is going to be Demons Souls fast too.
Stick to Dark Souls 1 and 2 if you want "slow".
Dude its fast. And yes I started with it.
Debatable, but its certainly faster than Dark Souls 1 and 2 with the exception of 2's rapiers. Try rolling with the Guillotine Axe and attacking.
Axes, and other types of swords are as fast as the longsword.
The Dragon Bone Smasher is fast.
And the Blue Blood Sword is light a long longsword, Its magnificent.
I fucking hate hyper armor.
>Land your most powerful attack on an enemy
>They tank through it and hit you
>They get stunlocked and die
Neither of these should be happening, never mind on the same enemy.
