You HAVE preordered the best game of the month, haven't you /v/?
well you gotta wonder when a ds game is better alchemy wise than nearly every recent atelier
Go play Lily plus, unless you're playing it just for your dick and the moeshit in which case thanks for killing the series
I got tired out on Atelier at Ayesha's PS3 release and haven't touched one since.
I'm going to pick the series back up at Sophie because I really like her design, but I don't want to blow my load to early and get sick of the series before that hits so I'll be skipping this one.
However, I hope everyone else buys Escha and Logy to keep the series alive in the west so I can have my yummy short hair redhead Atelier later, though.
The most important question in gaming:
Gust or Falcom /v/?
Sure but, what's your motivation? Are you out to become the greatest alchemist in the world? Is your character just a chemistry nerd with too much time in her hands? What do you DO?
Each game has you doing alchemy for a different reason.
In Rorona you have to find ways to use alchemy to improve the kindgom or else the govment gon take your shop away.
In Totori you travel the world looking for your lost mother.
In Meruru you're a princess trying to make her town grow from backwoods hickshit to a bustling metropolis.
It varies why you're doing what you're doing, but alchemy is the main feature of the game.
Falcom and it's not even a bit close
Yeah it's mostly turn based jrpg combat, except your alchemist should be doing most of the work.
You craft bombs and healing items, and use those in battle.
>"Oh yeah always see this Atelier shit all over the place wonder if its any good"
>Scroll down to games list
>not changing their names so the fucking game title doesn't sound like scatology
All these years heavily localizing random stuff, and the only time they should have ever done, they don't do it. Fucking why?
Probably will be as Koei Techmo owns Gust.
And they will give a physical version. I heard nothing but good things about it from importers.
The only Gust game localization we know about for 2016 right now is Yoru No nai Kuni/Nights of Azure. Which is an action RPG that I think looks good.
1) No word on localization yet but it'll near definitely happen
2) It got good reviews, better than the last few titles
3) It'll likely be PS4 Physical/Digital and have a physical LE on Vita, PS3 version will probably not be localized
Thanks for the heads up OP. Nearly missed this one.
Damn why am I so obsessed with saving up these points instead of just spending them though?
>Only beaten Totori
>Really want to play the others but want to play them in order
>Only have the original Rorona and Meruru
>Knowing the fuck up with Ayesha
>Even if they did a Ps3 collection like they did with Neptunia they wouldn't include it
>They don't even offer it as free DLC
The whole thing just left a sour taste in my mouth, I should go back and play Rorona and Meruru at least.
>Atelier game with a main male character
I think I'll PASS.
Are you the same retard from the trails thread?
They do, they didn't for the PS3 version of Ayesha but apologized and included it in Ayesha+.
Fuck off retard.
They always do that (happens to Disgaea too), Japan prefers handhelds. Depends on how much of a rush you are to play it.
Atelier is literally LITERALLY a yuri series.
I think part of why Sophie is a simultaneous PS4/PS3/Vita release is because people started waiting for the Vita ports altogether. KT might just stop with the Plus versions and go full jews on DLC
