Which one is better if i prefer RPG games and dungeon crawlers like diablo?
Neither senpai. The 3DS only lives from good first party Nintendo support, and the Vita is near dead outside of Japanese games.
Handheld gaming consoles are just dying.
If you HAVE to, the Vita has some neat games and is a blatantly better machine, but the 3DS has a few killer apps that sell it - Pokemon and that sort of shit.
The Vita doesn't have a lot of Diablo clones but there are a ton of dungeon crawlers on it. The 3DS has Etrian Odyssey
but 4 is casualized and hopefully nobody gives a shit about the Untold games. Or if you're a Purseownerfag theres Q
PSP longest play time was around 6h, wasn't it?
The slim version could hold on for like 8h, but only if used phat battery.
Oh and if you wanted to play on 333mhz then battery life dropped from 6 to like 3-4h. Only needed in some games and really packed .cso.
and hopefully nobody gives a shit about the Untold
Untold 2 was great. Can't wait for Untold 3.
3 > 4 > U2 > U1 > 1 > 2
Both are great systems for RPGs and the like. 3DS has EO, SMT, BD, FE, and Pokemon. Also both Dragon Quest VII and VIII this year. Vita has Persona 4, Trails, Atelier, Neptunia, and a lot of various dungeon crawlers.
Enjoying Moe Chronicle a lot more than I should, really looking forward to the sequel and still have Dungeon Traveler's 2 on my list.
The Galaxy S4 costs roughly the same amount as the Vita right now (which is also what Nintendo thought they could sell the 3ds for at launch if it matters to anyone) and has superior specs, so that's hardly true
Here's hoping the 4DS has specs that aren't objectively shit
it's not much higher, you won't get much more than 6 hours even at minimum brightness and 3d off, unless you mean using DS mode, but you know damn well that no one is talking about that
There is nothing like diablo on either of them, only one I can think of is Helldiver's, but its not a dungeon crawler. Just a top down shooter. 3ds has good dungeon games, vita has good JRPGs.
Dungeon Travelers 2
Soon we'll be getting Stranger of Sword City, Ray Gigant, and Demon Gaze 2.
That's what comes to mind for now at least.
Stranger of Sword City has got my interest, hadn't heard anyone mention Ray before, and I wasn't really thrilled with Demon Gaze to give the sequel a look.
There's also Mind Zero, but it's utter trash from what I've heard from others who own it, also the reviews and scores for it are pretty low.
What I play/will play.
3DS: Pokemon, Level 5 stuff: Professor Layton, Fantasy Life, Yokai. Zelda remakes. Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates. Ace Attorney. Devil Survivor Remakes. SMT IV/V. Dragon Quest 7/8.
Vita: Trails Cold Steel, Superbeat Xonic, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Persona 4/D, Soul Sacrifice Delta, VN: Corpse Party, Steins;gate, Danganronpa. Final Fantasy Ps1/p/ X-X2. God eater 2 RageBurst/Resserection, Digimon Cyber Slueth.
You really should have both.
>put it on sale
>not having them ready to ship until the end of the fucking month
Oh well, still have a bit more in Moe Chronicle to finish.
All electronic batteries are shit. Download a game on your smart phone, at full charge, and play for a couple of hours. The whole thing gets hot and the battery drains pretty quickly.
Of the two handhelds, the sleep mode for the Vita is way better. I have left it unplugged from the charger for days to come back to it nearly fully, if not still fully, charged. While the 3DS might last a day or two (though I hadn't upgraded to a New yet, so they might last longer).
Wouldn't it be wiser to buy the system that actually has things to play? Plus with PSTVs being cheap as fuck since they're always on sale it's smarter to just pick that up over the vita itself.
>tfw got a vita for 70 refugee vouchers + shipping
Can't wait to embark on panty quest
Picked these up for a total of 23 bongbucks yesterday, did I do good?
I love my vita, but it was unusable before I got this cradle for it.
Funnily enough, I'm having a blast with my 3DS right now... guess why that is...
Having it as an option is better than not having it
