However good a game is, nobody wants to spend half an hour sitting in a lobby waiting for one of the three other people who still play the game to join. When KI finally comes out people will have already invested their time and effort into SFV, so after the launch period (where people will give it a go as a novelty) KI's playerbase on PC will drop like a stone.

Half the cast is currently free, not exactly just a few. It's the half that has Fulgore and Glacius so it's the best half at any rate.

At any rate, my opinion on KI: It's pretty fun and unique, unique enough that playing it won't feel redundant next to SFV and Xrd Revelator. Don't have an Xbone myself so my playtime has been limited. My PC is a bit outdated, but hopefully the game will be well-optimized. I'd love to play it properly.

I love fighting games and I normally idort, but this time, xbone is not an option and Win10 will never touch my HD. It really came down to SFV vs KI (or whatever other brodude game Xbone claims as an exclusive) and SFV won

Plus, I get the sense that whatever I liked about KI back in the day had more to do with my lack of sophistication in fighting games, rather than it being actually good. While useful, you don't need to memorize essentially any numbers to be competent at fighting games.

You just need to know what moves are fast, what moves aren't fast, what moves can be punished, and what moves can't. You don't even have to research it. Just playing the game will help you feel these things out. Fighting games are an incredibly intuitive genre if you go in with a mindset of learning as you play and actually -thinking-. It had to be, because it's a genre that got big in arcades - no manuals or training mode available (back then, at any rate). People have always gotten good without any sort of "autistic knowledge".

I like the game.
I'm not very good at it, but it's so much fun. I love the style of the game, the graphics are pretty neat which is suprising considering how every Xbone games looks ugly in my opinion.
I know a lot of people seem to hate the Xbone here because of its awful launch and bad performance compared to the PS4, but I like the Xbone - the controller, games, and everything about it is neat.
