PED Suit is my least favorite out of all the Prime era suits. Dark and Light Suits both were two of my favorites in the whole series. Only thing with the Light Suits that I don't like are the knees, which should be more round.

That's why I don't like the knees of the Light Suit.

It really clashes with the aesthetic of the rest of the suit. It's clearly meant to be rounder and more organic-looking, and then there's those jagged, spiky knees there for some reason. They got it right with the Dark Suit, not sure why they did that for the Light Suit.

Christ, I just want a Metroid game with some new suits already. And faster, slicker gameplay to go with those sleek as fuck suits.

Pinball came between the Prime games iirc, whereas we're in a lull now. The art style is a poor choice for a game claiming to be part of the Prime series, and being claimed part of the Prime series after so long, particularly after Other M, tastes sour. The gameplay itself is allegedly a slowed and dumbed down version of the Prime controls, which made it drag on at the demo showing even in the short time playing it.

I'm cautiously looking forward to it, but these are the reasonings as I understand them.

With Metroid there's a very easy and 100% reliable litmus test to determine if it's gonna be good or shit right off the bat. Does Samus spend any sigificant amount of time outside her suit?
