Kid is pretty good... But Harle is the ultimate high test
She is a shitty clone with selective memory loss. Forced on your team by the games plot. She is not an interesting character by herself. And is surpassed by multiple optional characters in stats and skills.
Also what >>323531683 said.
>That fucking accent
That part is the fault of the localization. Not really the original staff. But she's not that interesting in the original game either.
Fun fact: The guy who added all those accents in Chrono Cross is the same guy who added the accents into Dragon Quest games. He ran away from SquareEnix and works for Blizzard now.
I like Kid. But I think I like the other CC girls more.
She get points midriffs though.
I thought the accents in the entire game was neat because it gives some personality in the dialogue to set each character apart. I mean, you can only do so much with just text and it was pulled off nicely.
>I mean, you can only do so much with just text
And that's precisely why accents don't work in text.
People are turned off even reading a Mark Twain book or Shakespeare play. This was hardly near those works.
Her accent is too heavy. Hard to understand what she's saying sometimes.
Is it true that Harlefags are worse than furries?
Kid has sex with dogs
chrono cross was terrible, what are you talking about?
first, it tries to be a sequel to an amazing game, yet diverges from the original game's storyline so much that it becomes a completely different and unrelated story. why did they even make it a "chrono" game? they could have taken out the chrono trigger elements and the game wouldn't even have changed by 1%.
secondly, that fucking unbelievably convoluted story. the story was so disjointed and convoluted that it makes metal gear solid 2 look like a children's book in comparison.
third, way too many fucking characters, and almost all are retarded. recruit any random dude you meet. recruit their wives! recruit their fucking pets! too many characters means that none are fleshed out at all, becomes a sea of fucking "single quirk" characters.
the game was unbelievably retarded. I actually played through hoping that it would get better, but instead it kept getting worse and worse. I finished it and wish I had never bought it.
one of the worst games I've ever played.
fantastic music though.
Accents work perfectly fine in text the moment you realize which accent they're going for, it's never again an issue after the first few lines of someone who speaks with an accent's dialogue. Mark Twain and Shakespeare don't turn people off due to "accents" but due to the shitty, awkward, and simply uncommon word placement, choices, and overall composition of people's sentences.
>You will never have Kid sitting on your lap while you smile at each other
why even live
Serge could've had the perfect waifu, but he chose an annoying aussie slut instead
>>You will never have Kid sitting on your lap while you smile at each other
Radical Dreamers didn't have the best girl, though
Plebs plz, make way for high test
Also, if you faggots saw the almost secret scene where RD Kid
kisses Serge after an impossibly lucky block that should have killed youyou would all name her as your one true waifu
I read all of RD
Kid is still a shit and Serge still has shit taste in waifus
Best Girl should have stuck around more. I want a qtpi French clown girl so bad that Cirque De Solie has a restraining order against me in all of their locations internationally.
I've literally never found lewds of my waifu you lying faggot
Squeenix will never do a proper HD Remaster on the PC and Vita using the original background assets resized in proper HD and FMV quality models in game, let alone add a mode that restores cut/lost/intented content on NG+ playthroughs
Chrono Trigger was a pretty straightforward, juvenile adventure with a bit of drama, but overall it had a silly and lighthearted tone.
Chrono Cross on the other hand deals with the consequences of altering the timeline. There's lots of death and sorrow, the main theme being that a life of a singe person can change the outcome of the future, creating many possibilities. I think the moment that had the biggest impact on me was when I realized I was walking inside a huge metropolis completely engulfed in tidal waves, which turned out to be the main area of El Nido where the game takes place, set some years ahead. Ruins of a civilization caught in a glimpse of time. One of many possible timelines destined for failure.
The atmosphere feels dark, unpleasant and heavy. Porre takes over Guardia, Crono and Marle are missing/dead, Lucca is dead, Robo becomes a locking mechanism for the frozen flan. Even the Masamune is responsible for many deaths and turns any person that starts wielding the legendary sword insane. Overall Chrono Cross keeps a pretty serious tone throughout the game, despite the main character being accompanied by a sword-bearing talking vegetable and a luchador psychic priest.
Woah there friend, we have to see how badly they butcher FF7 first before we let them touch a true masterpiece like this.
>you will never hear official remixes of CC songs and fall in love with the game all over again
>you will never see or hear fitting voice acting for each character with their accents (huge cost since there are over 100 chars yeah I know)
>you will never experience the dead sea and fight miguel in a much more emotional battle than was depicted on the ps1 back then.
>You will never rediscover fate at 2 in the morning and scare yourself shitless trying to defeat it.
Well now I'm depressed anon. I hope you're happy.

The pain is so much that sharing it is the closest thing to joy I can feel
