The Wii U Pro controller right analog placement is absolutely awful for camera control in action games where you need to be dodging/blocking/whatever as you also move the camera. It just doesn't work. DualShock is less guilty of this, but you have to bend your fingers to rest on the analogs. there's a reason why MS' design is the golden standard for third party peripherals.

So I grab both sides at the same place
My thumbs do not naturally rest on both thumbsticks because one is higher than the other while my thumbs are the same length
So you've gotta scoot your left hand up or right hand down
although with the abysmal 360 dpad there was nothing of value lost by moving your left hand up over it
the Xbone controller fixes this immensely

I grew up with DS1/DS2, and after switching to PC and buying an Xbox 360/later One controller, there really is no going back. It has far better grip and analog placement than any other controller. If you want to know why, here's the long answer. Basically, DD is the game the director, Hideaki Itsuno, has "always wanted to make".

How does this relate to the voice acting? Well, in the early 80s, the most popular games in Japan were western CRPGs such as Wizardry. Not only were computer RPGs a new, exciting thing, but as they were in a foreign language, they inspired wonder through being hard to understand. Consider the legend of the Cuisinart Blade, a sword based on a pun that nobody in Japan got. This is similar to how Dark Souls is so obscure. Those English CRPGs are what inspired countless Japanese games in similar veins with twists and turns on that formula.

Dragon's Dogma is heavily inspired by these old RPGs. The original VA, being in English, is meant to evoke that sensation of being in an old-fashioned fantasy world based in reality.

You can't simply search for the name someone logins with in the search box and expect to find their profile.
