Light is good against Dark, not the other way around. There are a fuckton of enemy mages and sages in FE7 that use anima magic. Canas shits on them, especially because Luna discounts enemy resistance.

Favorite FE7 character? I've always liked Lucius and was disappointed that 1st classes like monk that start with light instead of staves were rare.

His stats are kinda mediocre, but he has a monopoly on dark magic until you get Athos, so he's totally worth using. Darl magic is overpowered as hell, too, so that's even more of a reason.

However, I do think Lucius is way better. Pent, as well.
