I'm not sure man. I did enjoy the first one a lot but that was mostly because it was like playing Uncharted and getting to stare at Lara's ass and titties. It wasn't very Tomb Raider-ish.

This anon is full of shit. Rise is far better than the last game. Much better level design and pacing. Worth a purchase once it goes on sale. I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price though.

Any kind of personality or characterization that Laura once had has been stripped away in the name of "feminism" and she's become interchangable with Nathan Drake.

What used to be a cool series following a cool interesting character is now just another Brown Hallway Shooter, there are no puzzles or actual tombs to raid in favor of shooting endless bullets at a never ending stream of "bad guys" who are all Men of course.

yes I will. On release day for full price just like the first one I bought. Already on pre-order actually. I'll probably burn through this game on normal mode, enjoy the story and ass in my face for 6 or so hours, then move onto playing Dragon's Dogma.

Maybe if its well optimized or just to see how shit my PC is. I had fun with TR 2013 for what it was, but it was trying to be grimdark Uncharted, so much so when I popped in Uncharted 2 I actually had fun, there was color, the plot was corny yet enjoyable, and characters were actually smiling and joking around instead of crying or saying "YOU CAN DO THIS, LARA", when I didnt really care for it originally.
