His cape transforms into the wings, although in RtDL they're already attached to his body when he takes the cape off, so it's inconsistent even in the actual Kirby games.

Now what I want to know is how his pauldrons are staying mounted over his shoulders. At least his sabatons and gauntlets have little leather straps that keep them from slipping off.

I wonder this too, honestly. I get that he has a massive army that could help him rebuild it, but where the fuck does he get all the resources?

And it's never specified where Meta Knight lives, so we can only assume it's on board the Halberd, thus every time it gets destroyed he essentially becomes homeless.

It makes me sad whenever the Halberd gets destroyed.

Who knows how does he gather resources, recruits, and such. Maybe he lives on that pirate ship that was featured Kirby's Adventure or maybe hijacked one of the many blimps Dedede has also featured in Adventure. For all we know, he could do be doing this on a van right down by the river.

There are so many things about Meta Knight I want to know that will probably never be answered, like how he became a knight. Was he given the title by a higher authority, or is the title self-proclaimed, much like Dedede's kingship over Dreamland?

Also, how old is he? I know a description for Dark MK hints at him being "eons" old, and even the anime outright claims adulthood for Star Warriors isn't achieved for at least 200+ years.

I would think King Dedede gave him that title since the anime is non-canon although it's fun to watch every now and then. However his age is undetermined and he may be older than Dedede.
I always thought Dark MK was created right when Meta Knight entered the mirror world, like Shadow Kirby existed when Kirby entered likewise. But after playing TD, the hint of him him existing long before Meta Knight entered the Mirror world is kinda creepy.
There is also the similarities between Meta Knight and Galacta Knight. What kind of connection do they have, if any exist? And does Galacta Knight's existence mean that there are also other knights that have similar appearances as he does? It's all so mysterious.

I don't think there's any connection between Meta and Galacta, aside from possibly being members of the same species. Likewise, the debate between Kirby and Meta Knight's relationship goes yet unsolved, and will probably always be, which makes me sad.

I could accept them being brothers. Nothing more or less.

Kirby and Meta Knight being brothers sounds pretty cool though. Sorta sound similar to Luke finding out ol'Darth Vader is actually his father. Sucks that we'll may never know their true relationship, but I guess that just adds to the charm between them. They look similar, but have different abilities from each other. There is also the case of Keeby from Dream Course, and the Batamons from Dreamland 3 looking similar to Kirby as well. And maybe Prince Fluff although he lives in a different dimension and probably has no connection to Kirby.
