I like them but I'm a massive pussy and barely play them.
I liked Revelations a lot.

I remember playing the first one when I was like 7 years old and got so scared at the first zombie cutscene that I froze and just let it eat me.

I should thank that game actually it forced me to fight how scared I was and push on through. Doubt I ever beat it though, I know I did beat 2 when it came out.

The main series has consistently been decent to fantastic, with the exception of Resident Evil 6. The spin-offs have been hit and miss. At best we've had Outbreak, at worst we've had Survivor 2 and Gaiden

The people who outfitted her for this cosplay failed to realize that you can get a STARS Samurai Edge 92FS airsoft gun that is identical to the one Jill has in the game for about 20$. I'm not finished with RE6 yet but its amazing so far, I don't understand the hate. Chris' campaign was pretty meh but jake and leon's have been great and it easily has my favorite monster designs. Unlike RE5 it expands and improves on RE4s gameplay.

it was cool when they took the time to build up suspense around boss encounters and gradually introduced more complex enemies and puzzles. 4 is where they sort of lost that touch and went too actiony with it. 4 and beyond are not bad games but they lack the artistry I appreciated in the earlier games.
