Just watched this movie. I almost loved it, but the third act ruined it.

It really played up the idea that it was a whodunit, certain things would be lingered on or shown focus for no real reason, giving you the idea that they were small clues and hints for you to piece together who was the one in the room helping the woman. The door's missing latch, the jellybean, the handkerchief Jo Gage used to tied the bleeding on his neck, certain backstories that don't line up, etc.

But nope, just kidding, there was a 9th guy you've never heard of hiding under the floor the whole time. The door and jellybean and shit? Won't have relevance of solving whodunit because they won't be relevated on until AFTER the reveal.

Oh and half the people in this room were in on it.

I really loved the first 2 acts of this movie, the 3rd ruined it.

I agree none of those little things really made sense until the end. They all seemed forced in, kinda trying too hard to get that fight club re-watch-ability thing going for it, aside from that I loved the film

Guys I'm Italian, I can explain something about the whole "uno farto" thing. It's like a meme between children, when your a kid in Italy and someone makes a fart in class it is common for the other kids to surrouned the stink child and singing a small tune "Raspipi Farto" which is basically a nursery rhyme about a mother bear waking her child from the winter sleep by farting too loud. It's common for adults to call out others farts, or fartos, by just calling out "Uno farto!" which is part of the refrain of the song

You could tell by the way Jackson was acting that the scene made him cringe too
The relationship between him and Mattox was pretty well done though. Could've done more with it, especially when Mattox saw the letter and probably realized Jackson's character was just learning how to write or something.
