They're good as games, but the publishers were absolutely shitty to them, left the games half broken messes, achievements are unlockable, the multiplayer is completely unservicable, and they stopped responding to any inquiries about the games.

If you ignore the achievements and just go for the story in both, they're actually pretty good games.

Sora exceeds those by adding proper HD support, Xinput support, and after-relrease support

At this point it's kinda a waste of money though. They only have rights for Suguri and AoS1. The way rights work for Doujin Localization is that it works by title, not by whole series. Since Suguri and AoS1 have decent ports, FBF should just focus on getting AoS2 rights before a troll gets it.

I've been blasting through hard mode with almost nothing but artillery spam.

You generate very little heat while dash cancelling and firing artillery for some reason, so you are not only, constantly moving to dodge beams, you will also destroy most live ammunition as well as enemies you aren't even locked on.

As for that boss, I've only tried once so far on hard mode, but I got her down to red health. I think the artillery can destroy some of those small fireballs. Just remember to not get hit by the bomberman bombs I guess, because the make you catch fire. And save your hypers for the last part because fuck that part.

Well, Sora is currently kicking asses on fucking easy. Hell, the first level is a casual filter in itself in that if you can't clear it you don't get access to the main menu.
100% OJ is more like Dokapon Kingdom/Monopoly/Wall Street with anime shit. It's also RNG up the ass. No point in playing single player unless you're unlocking characters. Just go online and get dicked by seagulls all day.

Her unique passive hurts her more than it helps. It puts you in prime bully zone if the conditions are right and you can stay dead for turns and turns while feeding the other players wins.
Her hyper is Specs lite, in that it gives you 5's instead of 6's, and only lasts for that turn instead of until your next turn. The one upside is that it can be used both in and out of battle.
And maybe it's just me, but I swear her rolls are Hime tier.
Not gonna stop me from playing her though.
