Where's barbara with big tities and stephanie who sucks like vacuum?
Yo niko when you going to let me suck that Slav dick? Just kidding bro
honestly i think he's one of the best characters. at first i found him annoying, but as the game went on i found him genuinely likable and i enjoyed his presence. he grows on you and if you choose the ending where he dies, i think its one of the most impactful deaths i've experienced in a game.
YO MAN I WAS JUST CHECKING IF YOU WEREN'T GAY
In IV, when you hang out with him one time, he goes "yeah i work out cause women just love looking at men, they love when he steps out of the shower and water is dripping down is ripped, sculpted abs", they just find that shit more interesting". I found it pretty funny.
>ARAB MONEY BITCHES!
His sudden appearance in final mission made me laugh like no game before
DLCs overall brought fun back to GTA. Good story, memorable characters, and fun missions.
>hear knocking at the door
>Roman comes in
>Niko: "EYYYY ROMAN"
>Roman: "EYYYYYY NIKO! Gotta request for ya'."
>Niko: "Sure, anything. What's up?"
>Roman: "You did good stuff, but I've got something else for you. Another settlement's in trouble. I'll mark it on your map."
>Quest Started: Trouble at Tenpines Bluff
>it's then that I realized Niko had dark skin and was from a post-apocalyptic alternate future
>when stealing APC he asks about aircrane
>Luis answers and immediately adds "just fucking buy one!"
>he actually did
>after completing game Yusuf buys Tony's clubs along with all his depts, effectively saving both clubs and Tony
>Franklin: Random nigga from the streets
>Trevor: "I'm a sociopath, im so crazy xDDD"
>Michael: Rich father who keeps bitching around
>Lester: Actually good but he's more like 'unbeatable l33t h@ck3r'
>The rest are trash who only appear 4 or 6 missions or are dead
>Niko: A veteran from the war that was nearly killed by one of his friend who traited him for 1000 bucks and wants to get forget about his past but it's forced to seek revenge
>Roman: Annoying but funny cousin who lied to Niko about his wealth and has debts with the Albanios
>Brucie: gay dude who loves muscle cars and tits
>Packie: Irish guy who is in drug dealing and gets to be friends with Niko, gets his brother arrested and his sister gets killed
Okey guys, what did you do with Darko during yours first playground?
Has anyone roleplayed Niko while playing GTA4? I did and i really enjoed whole game.
>don't steal cars if not necessary
>don't kill civilians
>shoot police forces into their arms and legs until they hp reaches one bar
>wear tracksuit all day, everyday
>shoot police forces into their arms and legs
That shit was really dumb and unnecessary. Brucie was a lovable idiot that talked a big game but was obviously very insecure and incapable of much. They just made him gay in TBoGT for a cheap laugh. Really took away from his character.
Spared him. Killing him would have ended all his problems and done nothing for Niko's problems. He is left lost in a strange city with no money and no contacts. He will suffer enough.
I fucking did not do the final deal with Dmitri Rascolov though. Fuck that shithead.
>Only steal cars if the game requires it or if it is an incredibly desperate situation
>Only drive cars that have been taken from a dead gangster/enemy, or gifted to you
>Avoid head shots unless the target is required to be killed, allow wounded enemies to walk away
>Do not shoot at police unless the game requires it
It was actually really challenging, but a lot of fun.
>shoot police forces into their arms and legs until they hp reaches one bar
Someone should post that webm of Johnny Klebitz shooting a police officer, leaving him unarmed and running away
ARROGANT NEPHELEM, IT IS I, YOUR EVIL COUSIN AZMODAN.
LET US GO SEE SOME BIG PRIME EVIL TEETEES
Eh, it's in the shop.
nah, only limitation I put on myself was reducing ammo capacity to something where you can actually run out.
Settled with weight-based limit, 4lbs for sidearm and 8lbs for a shotgun/rifle/smg. While on it, I changed damage and force to be caliber-based, fixed innacurate magazines capacity, equalized completely arbitrary damages of shotguns and made 40mm grenades fuze to contact instead of time-delay
>such is life of /k/
on related note:
Did Rockstar really not expect everyone to instantly figure that cunt out, and instantly cut all contact? Because according to story script Niko is supposed to be shocked and hurt.
>I'll never have a qt cousin to go bowling and drive drunk to fuck at his apartment
How the fuck do I get these games to run at 60fps maxed out? I tried the nomemory restriction shit and it seemed to help a little.
I think it's a testament to the writing of the game that I actually didn't want to be that bad of a guy. The city felt so alive, and Niko so complex/likable, that I wanted him to do the right thing most of the time. What I find interesting is that morally, the game really makes you think that none of this stuff is really the right thing to do. The end of the game is basically a "wow so what" feeling. I was disappointed that in V, they threw all these moral questions away.
With IV and RDR it felt like Rockstar was starting to really mature.
I dont come here thinking im going to get an answer to my question and I have nothing but time for the next few hours to talk to shit posting retards. I thought Id try to give some constructive criticism for once.
>With IV and RDR it felt like Rockstar was starting to really mature.
And that's when THEY intervened.
We just can't get enough of online and no dlc.
IV has the best missions in the series though
>three leaf clover
>no way through the subway
>deconstruction for beginners
>undress to kill
>hostile negotiation (the one where you save roman and niko goes apeshit)
The missions weren't as "wild" as other games but I think that was a good thing, made them feel really immersive and intense, and I often felt like I was being a badass. I thought BoGT was too over the top.
reminder that this is way better than gay tony. best story, best protagonist, best missions. that final mission where you get free guns and shoot your way through the prison was fucking boss. and i loved those gang war shootouts with the angels of death.
This was my favorite character. A lot of moral clarity came out from this guy. I love when he says "I'm not a good guy, but I'm fighting with them". He knows his methods aren't the best, and often criminal, and he doesn't pretend to be righteous about it, and yet he is still doing actions that are helping the country. I love really self aware characters like that. He even knew that Niko was feeling conflicted about everything, when he says "Finally this is a murder you don't have to feel confused about". Just a really awesome character.
I WON AN INTERNET FIGHT!
I wonder if mom will let me get an extra chicken tendy for supper
i don't get the ending to IV. both options are shit
>do the deal with dimmitri, why the fuck would niko be stupid enough to do that? dimitri kidnapped his cousin and niko doesn't even need the money that badly.
>get revenge and kill him, which also doesn't make sense, since in the previous mission (with darko brevic) Niko realized that revenge wouldn't make him feel any better
The ending in general seemed shitty. The confrontation with Darko was the climax, it felt like, so the rest of the story is awkward. Plus, Kate's death isn't that powerful since she's not a huge part of the story anyway
You get chicken tendies??? My mom only buys lunchables.
>the first time you discovered if you get enough lap dances, another chick joins in
I didn't know that for like a year.
anyone else just like walking around the game world, not doing anything besides just taking in the city?
its weird, the city is crazy detailed, and yet most of the story you don't explore nearly half of the city it feels like. there's a lot of cool little areas, its like a fully realized diorama of a city with so much care and attention to detail. like if you go around alderney there's a lot of really cool, ornate houses, and around dukes there's some beautiful parks and suburban areas
YOU WANNA RIDE LET'S RIDE THROUGH LIBERTY CITY
BE EASY WHEN YOU DRIVE THROUGH LIBERTY CITY
HOPE YOU MAKE IT OUT ALIVE IN LIBERTY CITY
was never able to make out the second line but the freestyle was fire
GTA IV has flying colors in its characters and Story. Theres a nice caked layer of depression as you drive around and earn money to get revenge against the man who betrayed you and your friends a long time ago.
The moment in the game where niko feels like he finally found peace but it has taken away from him was depressing as shit and made me pay so much to the story.
Anyone else feel me?
To be honest GTA V was exactly what the vocal majority wanted.
No day passed on /v/ without people going all
or, "Hurr durr IV is boring and dull" and shit like that
I always liked IV for its atmosphere but realized it wasn't a true GTA game. Still, it hooked me to the storyline and characters.
V is... a good game, but I feel distant from the characters. Trevor is boring, Franklin is too stereotyped, Michael is alright but it all gets muddled up by having to follow three different character development paths.
Where GTA V really failed big was on the heists, DLC and online play. Really fucking huge failure there.
I know a place on the edge of the Red Light District where we can lay low.
But my hands are all messed up, so you better drive, brother.
the whole thing was bullshit anyway
Niko was some random nobody from serbia, traveling illegally to liberty city. why would he be important enough for the government to follow him right from the start of his arrival? Just makes no sense.
GTA IV's story is just so sloppy, too many things that felt way too illogical.
Also its kind of weird how Niko just kills Vlad so suddenly. They dont even question Mallorie about the cheating, Niko just immediately wants Vlad to die.
Yeah, I pretty much tried to do all of things listed here. That's a real shame you can't go nonlethal in V the way you could in IV. And that majority of TECHNOLOGY moments and some details in IV weren't prestent in V.
There should be a mod for Fallout 4 done in the same spirit as that cliffracer mod. Every time you turn in a quest, Preston is duplicated and you receive an additional radiant quest each time.
