You play with up to 3 people, controlling the fate of a single character. Every time you get to a fork in the route, a minigame starts between the players. The winner decides which route to take. The minigames are varied between shmup sections, puzzles, platforming, racing etc.
Every player has a specific goal, like getting the character killed as quickly as possible, fulfilling a specific requirement of a story (date girl X or Y but not Z) and so on.
Singleplayer game like Settlers, Anno or the Impression series where you attempt to survive and expand your tiny village while attempting to defend yourself against an endless wave based horde of enemies.
Other computer AI's will attempt to establish themself in the area and you can either help them, eliminate them or threaten them.
I'm working on an edgy game where you play as the leader of a terrorist organization. You have to manage your followers (keep them from deserting, or trying to overthrow you), indoctrinate kids and poor people, recruit more intelligent people to build your operation larger, and plot out attacks to bring your enemies to their knees. A fun tactic is making it look like a local group did it instead of you, and having the nation start a civil war.
I'm too shit at art, so it'll be a pixelfag game, unfortunately. I wanted to expand it so that you have a bit of an open world, so you could play out your terror plots, but it proved beyond my abilities.
A construction steel beam teeters over a person lying on the ground. It slowly hovers and sways, and shows a target receptacle to where it lands.
With a button press, you release the beam and it smashes the person's head below. The goal can vary between events, such as how completely you can obliterate the head or how far of an area of blood splatter you can create from the strike. Replay mode allows you to watch in any camera angle and frame rate, so you can watch the head deform and brains slowly squeeze out from the skull as it is crushed.
Character targets are DLC. No political figures, but everyone else is fair game. Pewdiepie one week, Justin Bieber the next, Zoe Quinn afterwards, etc. And you can smash their heads over and over and over again to your heart's content.
open world high fantasy medieval rpg there are a couple of gods (4 - 6, whatever) that all represent some values and traits that obviously align with different playstyles. these game is really based around those gods. you have a relationship to each one of them. most quests and actions are related to the gods and affect your relations. there are follower cults etc.
by having a good relation with a good he grabts you abilities and all that (stats, enchanted weapons, spells). you can't get stronger by leveling! this is the only way except for itens to become more powerful. you obviously cant 100% every god. at some point you become someones champion and can order his followers but you get attacked by others etc.
what you can also do is permanently acquire the gods powers through items and crafting. this allows you to become really powerful and OP if you play long enough. you have to do stuff like killing demons and angels or whatever to gain soul shards corresponding to a god (just make sth. up), find gear, do "secret" quests.
thats the game. you can focus on embracing a religion and becoming the champion of a god (a bit more roleplay) or become a god yourself (a bit more grind)
A pre-apocalypse RPG. You do a series of increasingly futile quests to stave off absolute destruction, but in the end all you can do is make the destruction slightly less terrible. And then you die. Lots of easy achievements/trophies though.
>>323440305 >Knights Of The Half-Pipe THPS2 mechanics with the addition of swords, shields, bows, etc...Continuing combos increase weapon power, successful attacks continue combos, and kills significantly raise multiplier.
Modes like deathmatch, team dm, boss arena coop, timed score, race, etc
>>323440305 3rd person shooter full of humour. It will be slightly episodic, with each level having you fight a different threat. Near the end, you find out one of the really weak tutorial bosses was the true mastermind behind a super dumb plot. Also, the game is filled with humour, like Deadpool or Undertale.
Genre: Visual Novel with choices and different endings.
You play as a married white man who has to find suitable sexual partners for his wife. Choices include the Asian man with a small dick, your neighbor (white man) with a regular sized dick and the black man from the ghetto with a huge dick.
I want to make the ultimate time sinker. Its going to be basically animal crossing, but with more minigames, a relationship system, the ability to have kids and such. All the characters will be rabbits, and once you have grown fond of your family and neighbors, the game will start killing them all and it will become a survival horror game requiring you eating your own children and breaking into your friend's house to steal food. The survival horror route will not be the only one, there will be other kinds of horror, and the routes and NPCs will be randomly selected at the beginning of each play through.
A fighting game with stamina/"shields". Blunt attacks, like fists, deal damage to stamina to an extent, at which point they're able to inflict health damage, while Sharp attacks, like knives, deal direct damage. The idea is that you have to trade off between battering an opponent with your fists and make it difficult for him to immediately respond after a combo versus giving him every opportunity to fuck you up after you stab them.
You're unable to defeat the big bad due to a prophecy, but you know who the prophecy is saying he will be defeated by.
Rather than the game having battle mechanics and whatnot, it's most of a time management game where you set up quests for the real protagonist, motivate him by doing evil things while under a disguise, bring alliances and whatnot to manipulate them into doing what you would do and defeat the big bad.
A city-building grand strategy simulation god game that tries to simulate a massive procedurally generated fantasy continent where you can control a civilization from any of the 8 main races and they all have their perks and interact with other nearby civilizations and shit. Think something along the lines of Dwarf Fortress, but instead of focusing on a singular fortress it's focusing on the entire world, combined with Age of Empires, The Settlers and the Civilization series.
>>323445748 It's amazing. Get Warband. You ride around on horses on the battlefield and deal extra damage depending on how fast you're going, so the thought throwing something fast and agile like a skateboard to ride around on sounds hysterical, especially with combos giving you buffs.
You are a high-rank policeman in a slightly dystopic US Midwest, with more violence, laws, harsher economy, etc. in the really near future, around 2020. To impress the congress and pass a bill restricting once more gun control and cutting down net neutrality in favor of the cable giants to assure the next elections, the President collaborates with an unknown society of higher ups, maybe the Illuminati, and sets up a school shooting to the school where your son goes to, plus some internet terrorism shit.
When it happens and your son "dies", you are heartbroken. But after coming to acknowledge the truth in your police department - a team of your colleagues escorted the children to a safe location and destroyed almost all proof - you quit and decide to investigate what's up. But, the CIA knows what you're doing.
In an ebin showdown in a linear setting of various cities and US locations, you must stop and run away from the police forces and secret services of the US, private and non - with 3rd and 1st person stealth mechanics, cover shooting, weapon modifications, military exoskeletons, computer AI, future shizz and prove the truth to the United States of America.
The finale is based on how well you did your job as in helping, how many trails you covered (clothes changing, ID weapons detached, IP logs covered, enemy outposts destroyed). Possible outcomes: >the illuminati acknowledges your work and you get into the association to get your child back >the organizations lure you with a fake wife kidnap situation, where they kill your wife and you too >you manage to escape every bad guy, show truth - the president is demised. the illuminati is fascinated, but you refuse their offer. >you fail in your mission, but the truth about what you did is soon spread on the deep web as a conspiracy theory, after net neutrality is cut down and too risky to say those things over the surface
A WRPG where you're an emerging grim frostbitten black metal musician from the frozen north in the pioneer age ov black metal. You get drunk and die in a trve kvlt chvrch burning gone wrong and are sent to the deepest pits ov Hell. Through the power ov being krieg as fuck you must battle your way through hordes ov demons and Lucifer himself with your glorious battle guitar. Once you get to the surface, the power ov evil itself has possessed you and twisted you, its vessel into a monster ov incredible power. You wreak a trve kvlt brvtal genocide of the Fourth Reich on the entirety ov humanity, and then end the game with a massive bangover from headbanging too much. Your armor throughout the entirety ov the game are different layers ov magical corpsepaint with mystical powers ov the moon, and the soundtrack is the grimmest blasturbation out there.
Action JRPG where combat is rhythm based and the soundtrack guides you on when to attack and when to go on the defensive. As in, when the music turns dreary and oppressive that means the enemy is going all out, and when it turns upbeat and triumphant he's vulnerable to damage. The length can be affected by player skills or how well you keep up with the rhythm.
Turn-based Dr. Wily management game with an extensive Robot Master designer where you can create and customize various robots and fortresses and populate the map with them in order to retard the advance of an ultimately invincible Megaman that keeps tracking you down, and will inevitably catch you unless you keep him busy long enough to complete a super project like Zero, Gamma, or the Zero Virus.
A HnK styled fps with Doom sprites. It would involve a lot of punching and made up insane martial art techniques with really long names, I drew up some concepts for the character but they didn't turn out that well I'd post a picture of the mc concept but it's probably shitty looking
>>323448802 No, reread this sentence: >You play with up to 3 people, controlling the fate of a single character.
What you can do however, is to fuck the other player over. Example: >goal of player A is to get together with Girl X and stay together until game over >player A manages to get together with her >a decision minigame happens >player B wins the decision >player B chooses the decision that will lose Girl X (as in insult her, hit her, flirt with other girls in front of her or whatever else) >player A is pissed off
An SRPG (something like Valkyria Chronicles with a bit better balance) where instead of running around collecting more and more party members, you have to keep them from leaving your party as the game goes on and the situations get harder. I dunno if this would straight up be a Walking Dead style of choice system, or more of a morale thing.
>>323440305 I had this idea for a castlevania-esque game, but with extremely difficult, but cuhhrayze, combat that punishes you if you fuck up and precise moves. The sprites would have hundreds of frames to simulate weight, which is why making this shit would be extremely difficult. The enemies could also move on the background, so they can rotate around you and stuff.
>>323440305 You play as a group of troubled urban teens, dealing with the day to day struggles of ghetto life. This includes gang violence, drugs, police brutality, and racism. These ideas are presented in a wacky beat em up with an increasingly crazy story. I'm not sure how crazy ittl get, but I wanna shoot the boys into space at some point.
Trading simulator/raiding game You play an orc pirate. You raid the seas against human and other orc ships. You also raid human towns. Goods - slaves (divided into classes - children, which are used in orc sacrifices; young women, who are used for sex slaves and who's progeny can be hired as sterile super soldiers for your raids; and young men who are used for the arena. All of them can also be used for another trade good, meat, but it's not really worth it), drugs, basics like food (including meat). You can set up in a goblin port city and invest in buildings like in Patrician - buildings can include a brothel for your female sex slaves, an abattoir to slaughter your slaves for meat market, a temple for your human sacrifices, a smith to craft weapons, a barracks to train up raiders. Story mode - you're found overboard after another orc ship killed your captain. After killing the captain of the ship that found you, you take control of the ship and start working your way up the hierarchy. Eventually, you can either become the right hand man of the orc pirate king, usurp the pirate king, or become the flesh embodiment of the orc Will through enough human baby sacrifices.
You are a knight in Silent Hill. It has Morrowind's fatigue system, with a couple minor changes. Unlike other horror games, you are tanky as shit. The issue with that is, that running drains your stamina. So does attacking. So does being hit. And if you are hit when you have no stamina, all the damage that would have been dealt to your stamina is dealt to your health as well. Because stamina management is so vital for survival, there's a couple ways to regenerate it. You can sit down and start regenerating it quickly, but it leaves you vulnerable to attacks. Standing still keeps you ready to fight should you need it, but it's about half as good as regular regeneration. You can also just keep walking, but that's even less than just standing.
The story is that you are a lord and something has been making your people extremely upset and decrying you, and you, being an actually noble nobleman, are upset as well, so you go to the villages to see what the problem is, when you discover there's little that isn't a problem. In an attempt to save your reputation, you swear that you will not hide behind an army, and face down whatever horrors in your way with steel and courage, for better or for worse.
>>323449935 I was approached by my friends about a concept like this about two days ago. Get off of /v/, whichever one of muh niggas you are.
>>323446228 >you will never be interrupted in the middle of a giant dakka fight which has you trying to steal a killa kan by a call from your mek boy bro who asks if you want to play a game of squig bowling.
4 player co-op story mode game. each player controls his 00 agent under MI6 and her majesty's orders. various missions and a 2 squad multiplayer where teamwork is necessary - each agent has a special class: >weaponry (strong guns and explosives) >closed quarters (stealthy infiltration and melee combat) >electronics & devices (lockpicking, hacking, workarounds) >transport vehicles (can drive everything from cars to boats to planes, also backup helicopter) example: there is a locked and guarded outpost. >transport guy spots enemies from his helicopter >closed quarters knocks out the guards >electronics opens the outpost >weaponry makes door blow up and kills enemy planes from turret post you can switch roles for maximum immersion, all 4, everytime >stealth guy could knock out someone and get the clothes from the guards >gives them to transportsman who gets everyone in a trucks' back >infiltrates into outpost by getting checked by guards >weaponsman takes hell onto earth by killing everyone inside >electronics guy opens second door (vault) with codes etc.
>h dungeon crawler >warrior ladies go to abandoned town >get raped by monsters >monster semen gave them abilities >explore dungeon to find townspeople who were experimented on and turned into monsters >after rescuing them, you can have have sex with them to get more abilities
SCP Foundation management game composed of a squad-based turn-based gameplay where you control an elite strike team and an endless supply of disposable D-Personnel, coupled with a strategical overlay where you have to design, build and manage containment facilities all over the world, and occasionaly beyond.
An open world "j"RPG with 80s anime aesthetic and tone with elements from WRPGs where you're playing as a lone wanderer in a Mad Max-esque dystopian wasteland with nothing but a run down motorcycle. As you traverse the wasteland you will come across warlords, bandits, and just horrible people acting out of desperation and countless badlands wildlife. The main character is armed with nothing but a melee and an old handgun for a good chunk of the game. Firearms in general are very rare to come by whereas melee weapons are common. The main character acts as a lone vigilante who goes between settlement to settlement to take justice into his own hands and kill local highwaymen and shit. You have to balance hunger, thirst, and survival skills out in the wilderness, and you'll be using random melee weapons most of the time because ammo is so incredibly rare that a gun will probably never be used unless in clutch moments against bosses. Although the game has an element of free-roam open world, the game also has a heavy plot which involves some savage mongol-esque warlord's plot to take over the wastelands. Also the game has a kickass 80s synthpop soundtrack. Think something along the lines of a weebier mad max and fallout. Obviously Hokuto no Ken's the main influence.
Make a Socom clone but with updated controls and the latter. But plays like the PS2 titles after Socom 1. Add gender diversity and different ethnic backgrounds to get those sjw to think twice. I really liked playing with Vandel and Bludshot, they were cool partners
Multiplayer sex game. The players play as a person and each has control over a different body part: Head (mouth), Hands, Crotch (ass and penis or vagina), and Feet. The goal is to get the other team's person off the most times within the time limit. The game will also have a non competitive coop mode where the players must beat off wave after wave of men.
>>323454381 Well, depends on how you write the stories, doesn't it? If you go crazy with routes, you'll get a bunch of replayability out of a single story. Not to mention that once the minigame/decision part is fleshed out, you can implement as many stories as you want or even let players implement their own stories.
>>323440305 Too lazy to read all replies so call me a faggot if someone said this. Civ 5 on phone where games last weeks or longer. Similar to Clash of Clans where you build your area up, negotiate and trade goods with others, and go to war. Turn based but there are things you can do while its someone else turn like organizing troops or workers.
So Moominvalley has some weird sleeping curse put on it that makes characters in the valley get stuck in their dreams, you go into their dreams to battle monsters and shit, maybe have minions in a Pokemon style but I hadn't really thought about it much. Just figured the two worlds thing would be cool to have the idyllic art style for the real Moominvalley and something a bit darker for the nightmares. Also works around having penalties for getting beaten being against the tone, instead of dying you get kicked out of the dream world and have to start that level again. Maybe it turns out it was the Groak making the people have nightmares or something.
Daylight time has stuff where you grow crops with Moominpappa and craft recipes with Moominmamma, maybe some other stuff for more Harvest Moon elements.
Art style of the old anime Moomin cartoon that aired in the early 90s.
>>323440305 Fantasy Post-Apocalyptic with a lot of RPG elements.
It'd have gameplay a lot like Metro. You are as squishy as enemies and can carry around 5 weapons at most. Forget about being the chosen one. You're a bloke or gal like everyone else.
Morality system would be the most polished aspect of the game. Most of time you won't have a clear idea of what you're doing. You will most likely screw someone over by doing something good at some point. Sometimes you'll have to be evil to survive.
You don't have a set karma value. Most people won't know what you did, unless there were witnesses. And even then, the whole continent isn't going to know that you stole an apple just because some random kid saw you.
Romance system probably wouldn't be there. I have yet to see a game where it adds anything to the experience.
Maybe I'll add fantasy races, maybe it'll just be humans. It sure as hell isn't going to be humans/elves/dwarves, though. Racism can be a cool part of the story if pulled off right, like The Witcher or Elder Scrolls.
I don't know about the art style. I don't know the fantasy equivalent of hazmat suits or wastelands. Post-Apoc is usually realistic, so I don't have much inspiration.
A game that explores the mechanic of flying. Ever since the failure of Superman 64 I've been fascinated by how difficult it is to implement such a simple concept in a game.
Basically, you have one control to accelerate/decelerate and most of the player's attention would be on changing directions. If you have a touchscreen or something like the wiimote it would be easy to change direction rapidly, like a Macross plane.
>>323458348 >What you mentioned sounds like a dumb fanfic anyone could write in their lunchtime. Which is exactly what you wrote, don't kid yourself. The only way you could have made it more unimaginative is if you would've included zombies and the word Open-World somewhere.
Space opera third-person shooter with driving and flight sim elements. The plot is centered around racial/species tensions between humanity and a number of alien races, who are all either at war or on the brink of war. In the midst of this chaos, a new threat emerges, a race of powerful sentient machines that threaten to wipe out all life in the galaxy.
The twist is that it's not Mass Effect. It's an Astronaut Jones game made to parody Mass Effect. Romance options galore. Fully animated sex scenes. Voiced by Tracey Morgan.
Here's an edgy one >A stealth/action game with an open world where you play as a demon that works for the Grim reaper to assasinate the world leaders including the president of America,Russia,China and later in the story, terrorist organizations >The gameplay is a mix of Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Rising >When you get detected you enter battle mode, similar to getting detected in MGR,where you need to slice your enemies
Game where you play as a firefighter and keeping the city safe from dick head fire cultists, same sort of style as Viewtiful Joe or Wonderful 101. Final level is you going deep underground to put out the fires of hell.
It's like an open world Monster Hunter game with RPG elements and survival themes. World is pretty much empyt expect ruins and monsters. You try to upgrade your gear and survive, there's litttle to no story. Everything is mostly unexplained.
>>323464353 >Waifu Souls >You can make your own waifu, with more options than DaS for your fetish needs >You don't level up, you unlock better pieces of clothing with the souls of the slain >Invading is a big fetish fest for all tastes
