I still play it from time to time like usual. The gunmettle upgrade was great and made me play it a lot. I don't really main any class but I never play scout or sniper as I can't aim for shit.

If I main anyone it's probably Heavy, with Engineer and Soldier off to the sides, Scout if I'm feeling festive, Medic if I want my team to win.
I basically ignore Pyro, Demoman isn't fun anymore because Demoknight is dead, Spy and Sniper are pointless to me.

The Tough Break update has to be my 2nd favorite update yet. The skins in the update look nice and the maps are fun. Phlog is not op.

On the rare occasion of me playing, I main Scout. Used to main Pyro and Heavy but you can dominate really easily. Scout challenges my aim a bit more.

Demo never EVER had a high skill ceiling. The only classes with high skill ceilings are Scout and Sniper.

The most recent nerf was that it now has a much lower setup time, unless you're actively hitting it. When you're hitting it, it sets up 1.5 times faster if I'm right. Basically it no longer encourages "build and forget" kinda stuff. You can also heal them now.

Pretty good. No new weapons, but alot of new maps and cool reskins.

It was my favorite game during highschool. Whenever I try to play now I just get a sad feeling of emptiness.

They balance this game better than csgo, lately. Since their removing crits for the mm mode.

It's a lot harder to land every pipe as demo than it is to land every meatshot/headshot as scout/demo. You are provably wrong if you think otherwise
