It also has on the fly choices, you can chance between the characters on the fly as well. You also have a skill tree for all the characters, story characters depend as to which ones are open, your character can access them all.
Skills are locked to their weapon type except for magic. All classes can use magic.
The only real major difference is it allows combo attacks on skills once you build up enough TP from being attacked or over time.
It also has a active defense button you can use to reduce damage. It is a bit wonky though.
>>323420215 No one liked 12 probably because of the story. The battle system is just an excuse. I can't see anyone not having fun building their characters from the ground up and organizing their party AI.
>>323421682 Also when Vayne was on screen. Also when any of Judges were on screen. Also when anything concerning politics was ever discussed. Also when anything concerning Occurias was discussed. The only uninteresting part of XII's story is the very beginning before the castle infiltration.
