Browser Quest will entertain you for 10 minutes before you reach endgame. I believe there is an abandoned official endorsed version and a continued branch by the community

I don't know their names unfortunately, but I do know there is AT LEAST one other game like it. I remember when I played it I was really surprised that it was like the exact same game with different art. I will see if I can find it for you in a few minutes if it is even still alive.

There is also tibia ME but it is pretty bad. Isn't there a 2D fighterish action rpg called Dungeon Fighter or something? There is a Zelda LttP ripoff called Graal Online, but it is pretty dead which is a real shame (There is a mobile/facebook version that has a very alive community last I checked, but the game itself lacks content and that alive community is a bunch of teenagers looking to cyber and trade virtual goods)

Endless Online still is running I think. Some people still run Unreal Online servers. By the way, I listed some Tibia ripoffs earlier and here are the two I can remember: PixelChampions and Zezenia.

Finally, there are some 2.5D games: Lunia, Ragnarok which I am sure you know, Tree of Savior, and Rose Online.
