Hugeness and amount of people shouldn't really have that much of an impact on a GPU from a compute standpoint. Large areas, textures, and models generally just mean more VRAM usage; it shouldn't be dropping frames so often or not running at 60fps at all unless something else is an issue.

Regardless, it's pretty sad that I'm dropping frames at all with a 970 OC'd fairly high. I guess this is how NVIDIA pushes G-Sync, or 980s and up.
