this is now a persona thread
>not even posting the best persona game
Play a real game you autistic weeb fagit.
Fuck off weebs
It's for people who were bullied in elementary and middle school and developed an avoidant personality that destroyed their ability to socialize in hgihschool that want to fantasize about a rose colored school life
Say what you want about the series now, this game is fucking great.
You seem to have all posted the wrong file
When I say boom boom boom you say bam bam bam no pause in between come on let's jam.
P4G was better despite adding Marie, who could be easily ignored.
>God tier gameplay
>Shittiest story and characters ever
Wrong. The game it's based off of's remake is 1000x better.
Two entirely different games though
Either way, spelunky is better
La-mulana is a legit 10/10 game.
Spelunky lacks substance, has only 4-5 areas, is repetitive, has procedurally generated levels instead of masterfully hand-drawn and created levels that can feature puzzles and enemy placement not possible in procedural generation, and never has a sense a progression.
Procedurally generated levels does make for replay value, that's just a meme the developers sold you on, and it isn't the 1970/1980's so high scores don't actually matter anymore, and even if they did the fact that the level's are procedurally generated makes the highschore system inherently bullshit.
You're just implying I meant the procedurally generated levels are the replay values. There are a lot of items with neat tricks to all of them, which make it so you can play the game in different manners.
Even then, if you have played the game multiple times you see repeated generation in the levels so it's mostly just doing it in small sections
Of course, this is still up to the fact that these are two rather different games
>There are a lot of items with neat tricks to all of them
Like 30-40, where as something like BoI has over 400.
>which make it so you can play the game in different manners.
Many if not all of the items synergize well and if they're carry-items, they're incredibly similar and if they're not similar they're objectively the best (shotgun, lazer, etc)
And even if they still are two different games, there's certainly a quality difference from Sonic 06 and Halo 1.
I tried to get into that game, but I eventually got too annoyed at how terrible the dungeon exploration was. Having to endlessly cycle through turns waiting for the slower party members to catch up every time I wanted to open a door or just leave the dungeon was agonizing. There was no reason for the game not too allow free movement outside of combat.
Sonic 06 is almost certainly in every single way worse than Halo 1.
The comparison to be made here is that one is a bad game and one is a good game.
Just like the comparison between LM's Remake and Spelunky is that the dev of spelunky was inspired by LM.
